[ Oh, look, it's that guy who pisses everyone off. The corner of his mouth quirks into a cruel smirk, but his teeth are clenched too tightly and his eyes burn too fiercely for any proper smile. It’s a struggle for him to remain as guarded as he would prefer, and there are cracks in his armor: he’s clearly angry and upset. ]

My sister was among the ill. Was. I have been informed that she has since returned to the pods—still uncured.

[ He tries to keep his tone even and cold, void of emotion, but his voice breaks ever so slightly. He and Asha weren’t close, not like he’s known siblings should be, but it’s a deep cut to be abandoned again, and it hurts to know that one of the few people he felt he could trust in this place is gone. Clearing his throat, he continues.]

Which leads me to the question at hand. What reason do I, or the worried, or any of the ailing, have to trust the maesters here? Healers--whatever name you may know them by. Months, this has gone on, to the point where someone is gone and remains unhealed.

[ He knows better than to critique those who have done nothing but help, but his anger is directionless otherwise, so he chuckles cruelly, and that cheshire smirk widens. ]

They’ve been all but useless.

[ It takes all of Theon's power not to immediately lash out at Loras. Apologies, he thinks, are worth so little. They don't soothe pain or heal wounds or undo betrayals or fix anything. Maybe he should try harder to appreciate the sentiment, but he's just so hurt and angry. Clenching his teeth, reeling in that anger, he tries his very hardest not to lash out with too much rage. ]

How am I meant to know? Uncured, perhaps it can.

[ Not yet, at least. That's what concerns him. Stasis seems safe enough for everyone else, but this sickness is strange and unfamiliar. Who can say that it won't continue to plague her while she sleeps? ]

Okay, I don't know much about medicine, but I have been in the emergency room like, ten or thirty times, and I've been in the hospital too, and I got this super sweet government job, so I even had insurance before the whole world ended--

When they do make a cure, what you're gonna do is get a long tube and get it in the side of your sister's sleeping pod thing, and then you pour the cure in there. Like an IV, but way more sci-fi.

[Keith wasn't exactly Olympia's #1 advocate; he hasn't a reason to change his stance now that they've moved to Wyver. His qualms with this place, the deitys, whatever are all clear-cut, practical. He hasn't been personally attacked, he's just another refugee with friends who've been in stasis for too long, with a distaste for the surreality he finds himself waking up to daily.

Becoming a Paladin (and thensome) should've smoothed certain transitions over, and they have, but he does possess a grudge against this place.]

Maybe it's the only thing that could have helped her. That's where they're safest.

He hasn’t changed his viewpoint though, no matter how little he genuinely believes in it. He isn’t truly angry with the healers. He’s angry with Asha for leaving him, but that isn’t something he’s willing to admit, so he’s redirected his anger to a different target, and he’s holding stubbornly to it. ]

I do not believe they’ll give me anything, now.
