[ This is short notice (and just plain short), but kind of on purpose. Less time for word to get out past the refugees themselves. ]

Coalition's coming up real soon, and I know plenty of us find it somewhat worthy of suspicion. I'd like to be in the area, but not attend, just to keep an eye on things from the outside in the event of an emergency. If anyone would like to join me, I'd appreciate the backup.

[When a voice comes over the device, its tone is stern and mildly demanding.]

I've had quite enough of all this doom and gloom.

We are having a meeting. The Thesa Station, before the latest patch of unfortunate souls join us. I'm preparing a room for all of us, and by the bloody Maker you all are going to join me. Bring something to write with, because I will implore you to take notes. If you can't make it, I'll just assume you'll listen to my soothing voice over these devices anyway.

[With a click, it almost ends there—but Dorian quickly resumes the stream.]

... Also, if anyone with the strength to lift a few kegs, chairs, and other heavy objects would join me beforehand, I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, perhaps, someone who can work a stove. And... also someone with more technical know-how than I—I am quite necessary in this equation, rest assured, but it would make things much easier. Cheers.

[And, finally, it ends there.]

[This is one stressed, unhappy Claire Fraser. She wipes at her forehead with the back of her hand before looking at the screen, clearly torn between trying to appear professional and not giving a damn and doing nothing to hide her agitation. After moment, the latter wins out.]

If you haven't noticed, the bloody Sanctuary has closed its doors. Look miserable enough and you might be let in, but for now, I wouldn't go to them if you're in need of medical assistance. [Her way of helping--the less people banging at their door, the sooner they might relax. Unlikely, given the state of things, but she'll try where she can. Yet this has soured her opinion of the place, and Lysa.]

I've some things I've collected myself, and I'm sure some of you have managed to borrow supplies, so I suggest we all pool it together. Make our own temporary clinic until they allow us back in. A place to treat everyone, regardless of the madness in the streets. The residential district, preferably. Somewhere out of the way.

Ideally, no one will be hurt, but I don't think that's a realistic goal at this point.

[Looting, riots, vultures... no way blood isn't getting spilled.]

If you're a healer, and you'd like to assist, please do so. If you're hurt, let myself or someone else know. Someone can go to you or fetch you. We must rely on ourselves.

[She hesitates before adding:]

And I suppose if you feel like paying the Sanctuary a visit regardless, I can tell you where things are and what we could use.

[Not too long after this goes live, there's a text file attached with the address of a run down house not far from the starter homes, as well as a list of items that would be appreciated, including food.]

[ so... Garrus likes poking around the network. he likes it a lot. but it's the first time that he's actually... really gone through with the effort to make a post on on it. might as well start with the small talk. ]

so, i've been up for a while and i can't help but notice something.

there's a lot of humans around here. a lot of humans that are awake, and not so many of any other species. take me, for example. back home, as amazing as i am, i'm only one example out of billions of turians. here, i'm the only one.

if you ask me, it's a little strange.

does anyone have a good, sound, scientific explanation for this? like humans are more storm-proof, or something? and how many of you guys are the only ones of your species that are around? are you used to it? do you find it weird that the locals don't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary?

all i'm saying is there's a lot of questions.

[ oh, and for good measure... ]

and, if any of you orbiters are hanging out around here, you're also welcome to answer!
