hello!
my name is jade harley and i should probably keep this as simple as possible, so i will be quick

prior to waking up after the storm i had a lot of interesting and incredibly cool abilities
i am the witch of space so i can alter space at my will, it is super cool and i do not even need a fork to eat cake with!
these abilities included things like flying, growing and shrinking people, material items and planets
however after waking up i found that my abilities were...........
well altered in some way! :o
it is very mysterious and i am curious if anyone else is having this problem

in particular, i can no longer fly for long periods of time
i also seem to have limitations on how small or large i can grow things
i suppose it stands to reason that after the storm, well...
things would change for me
but i guess i was not expecting this in particular :\
if anyone else has experienced this phenomena, i would greatly appreciate it if you spoke up!

it may also be worth it to consider discussing what kind of abilities we all have
who knows what will be helpful!
perhaps i will keep a little document for our benefit, just in case :)
it doesnt havent to be something impossible sounding, i think even being well read in certain things is amazing!
knowledge is so cool

oh and i guess it is becoming commonplace to say where we are working
im an herbalist working at the plant nursery so if you would like to talk about plants sometime, i am your girl hehehe!!! :D

also if anyone wants to show me some games i would appreciate that
i am finding it a little bit difficult to find board games here and i miss playing them :(

uhh so, i don't have any abilities like that, exactly?
but my buddy does, and he used to be able to keep stuff sorta locked away for us until we needed it
like a pocket dimension! but only a few of us can use it
but anyway, ever since we got here none of us have been able to access our stuff there
weird, right?

[ And it hadn't made any difference whether Noct was in stasis or not. He had a lot of cool guns floating off in hammerspace. :( ]

i'll definitely join you on a game hunt, btw. video or board or any kind of game, i'm in!

i think, in theory, i could still pull these things off if we need them
i did shrink some of the pods and slow them down when we crashed
if a situation like that comes up, i am still more than capable!

the only thing i realized was changed was flying!
i have to stop and i get tired now
as you might imagine, i very rarely walked anywhere once i began to fly and teleport
on that note, i have not noticed a difference in teleporting
however i have not really tested how far i can go now :o

I didn't realize your abilities had been altered, Jade.
That is rather odd.
I haven't noticed any such problems myself.
Of course, there could simply be something I haven't thought to try out here, but I can't help but think I would have...felt it, I suppose?

i think for you, it would be a matter of feeling it yes
light powers are so in tuned of shedding light on matters
it would probably feel like you are more acquainted with confusion than before maybe
i do not think they would be able to do that to you though
you are one of the most reliable people i know

however for me i only realized it when i began to use those abilities
i knew flying changed on the station but i did not realize the other things had
teleporting is still easy though :P

[ lance doesn't have any of those fancy magic abilities so he doesn't really have much to say in terms of that. as far as he can tell, his bayard can be summoned just fine, but he thinks allura will probably kick his butt if he goes around referring to altean science as magic, so... ]

what kinda games are you thinking of? like card games or stuff you dont need props for?

i have only played 2 of those before
and while i have never seen ghostbusters i dont think there was enough material in it for a massively multiplayer online game :\
but the ones that come to mind are the ones i miss most
which are board games like jenga and memory
memory is one of my favorites :)

Honestly, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around some of the things you mentioned.

You do know you were not the first person who came up with this idea don't you? Had a whole conversation with this other lady a while back over all the ways making a collective resource of every refugee's particular abilities could be abused.

I am concerned about the fact that your abilities seem to be stagnated though. Do you think Dharma may have something to do with it?

i can just show you that i can do this though
it is actually very easy

but i dont want to abuse them!
instead i think have a resource for what everyone is capable of and any effects would be a good idea
also i dont care if someone else was saying anything about it
i obviously missed it!

i dont know at the moment
i dont think we should cross that out just yet though
for the same reason i dont think we should say it is the definite answer
i would need to do some more digging on this subject to figure it out
so far i seem to be the only person affected :\

Obviously I'm still extremely great at magic and other stuff, but I will say they did nerf my spell slots pretty good! Kind of a hack n' slash job they did in there.
