hello!
my name is jade harley and i should probably keep this as simple as possible, so i will be quick

prior to waking up after the storm i had a lot of interesting and incredibly cool abilities
i am the witch of space so i can alter space at my will, it is super cool and i do not even need a fork to eat cake with!
these abilities included things like flying, growing and shrinking people, material items and planets
however after waking up i found that my abilities were...........
well altered in some way! :o
it is very mysterious and i am curious if anyone else is having this problem

in particular, i can no longer fly for long periods of time
i also seem to have limitations on how small or large i can grow things
i suppose it stands to reason that after the storm, well...
things would change for me
but i guess i was not expecting this in particular :\
if anyone else has experienced this phenomena, i would greatly appreciate it if you spoke up!

it may also be worth it to consider discussing what kind of abilities we all have
who knows what will be helpful!
perhaps i will keep a little document for our benefit, just in case :)
it doesnt havent to be something impossible sounding, i think even being well read in certain things is amazing!
knowledge is so cool

oh and i guess it is becoming commonplace to say where we are working
im an herbalist working at the plant nursery so if you would like to talk about plants sometime, i am your girl hehehe!!! :D

also if anyone wants to show me some games i would appreciate that
i am finding it a little bit difficult to find board games here and i miss playing them :(

You were quite powerful then, to manipulate the space around you.

So far I have noticed no change to my own powers, but I have not tried everything since waking. You noticed a difference immediately?

well, there is a reason a space player is completely necessary to win a game! :)

i think, in theory, i could still pull these things off if we need them
i did shrink some of the pods and slow them down when we crashed
if a situation like that comes up, i am still more than capable!

the only thing i realized was changed was flying!
i have to stop and i get tired now
as you might imagine, i very rarely walked anywhere once i began to fly and teleport
on that note, i have not noticed a difference in teleporting
however i have not really tested how far i can go now :o

I had given it less thought before now, but based on what you say I assume our hosts have a way to keep the more powerful among us in check. I had noticed that they did not seem to discriminate in who they saved, taking in even those so hungry for more power that they would destroy much to achieve it. Perhaps this is how they avoid being challenged.

Had you ever experienced such limitations before the storm?

personally, i dont think you are wrong
however i do not think that debating about our hosts at the moment is viable
we dont know their motives and until we do have some kind of idea, every idea is just as likely as the last

that is...........sort of a long story
but yes, i have
my body absorbed a god in order to exist as i am now
that god gained its power from a source called the green sun
while traveling between dimensions, i was not connected to the green sun
and lost some of my powers
in this case, i can still feel the green sun enough that i can tap into those powers

At first she thought the mention of planets was a blustery exaggeration, but either she deals with someone wildly imaginative or this is more involved than she could have suspected. ]

With that in mind it seems fortunate that you can still feel the sun at all. How did you absorb this god?

that is a long and involved story!
the bluntest way to put it is that he saved my life by becoming a sort of ghost
because it was supposed to happen i merged my corpse with his and then later this body i am in now absorbed my corpse to become a god
ok actually that wasnt so long and involved :\

Short, perhaps, but obviously complicated.

I am uncertain of how one already dead merges one's corpse with anything.

that is where the long part comes along!
there was another me who was awake while i was asleep
she is the one who died and i.......
brought her back for a bit before merging with her after i died! :\

[ A sore subject, actually - Jadesprite, the reanimated corpse merged with her dog, had been unwilling to do anything, too overwhelmed with grief. Jade, speaking as she is now to Morrigan, can only find that to be a weakness that she can't tolerate. ]

it is all apart of a game
but i guess that game is on pause or hold now that i am awake here
