[The message opens up to a rather large older man. He sits in some living room in the housing district. Behind him sits a very very large suit of armor. It's clearly seen much better days. In fact, it looks like it's being held together by duct tape and gum..and is that a hubcap welded in to patch it? Probably.

He looks very serious as he starts his message.]

Hallo. I am Reinhardt Wilhelm. And I am in need of a person with mechanical know-how. As you see, my armor has seen many battles and if it comes to it, I would like to ensure that it sees many more. The young lady who helped me maintain it in the past...my squire...she... well, she's still asleep. Which means that I am short a valuable person.

I would like to take on a squire. A person that can help me maintain my armor. Fix it when I break it and assist in fixing me when I break me. They must have both skill in forging, metallurgy, repairs as well as know some electronics and a small bit of rocket science. [ Yep. Still totally serious about that too ] My biggest requirement is that whoever helps me with my armor has a heart that loves justice and a willingness to help the people for little or no monetary rewards.

Old? I'll have you know I am only 61 years old! And once, when I was younger, I was in those magazines. And on posters! I was very popular! [ He looks proud of that. He probably shouldn't be, but yeah, the Crusaders totally had a lot of PR back in the day.]

That's precisely what I am, Jolyne. I am a knight for the modern era. [ Well...future era for her, but who's counting. ] We called ourselves Crusaders after the Templars of old and with our armor, we protected as many as we could during a terrible war. And though I am the last of us, I still honor that duty, which is why I was looking for a mechanic for my armor.

What war was that? I don't remember any news stories about Iraq involving Crusaders and stuff.

[ Strap yourself in for this one. ]

In 2042, the robots that were created to help with manufacturing and other work rose up and tried to destroy humanity. We call it the Omnic Crisis. This is the war I speak of.

2042? Is this like....Terminator level shit? Skynet and all that.

Oh! That movie is a classic!! And we really should have paid more attention to it. Because it's quite close. But we won that war. However the cost of winning was very very high and even now, 30 years later, people are suffering and need a knight to help.

If you won then.....right.

That's why you have knights and shit. Need to let people know that some of you have honor when everything else has went to shit, huh.

Exactly. Some places fared better than others. But no matter where you go, there is still suffering and there are still people and omnics who would take advantage of and harm those that only want to live their lives. And as long as I have breath in my body, I will continue to protect the innocent and defend the weak.

Do they not have knights were you are from?

Why would we? Knights are pretty old school, you know. Not that I'm making fun of you but people would think that's pretty silly.

It's all right. People think I'm being silly in my time too. But no matter the year, old school ethics and morals never go out of style. A man or a woman is a knight if they have honor and justice and the drive to do what's right in their heart

....I'm pretty sure someone wouldn't look at that huge set of armor there and call you silly.

You would think that, but you've never met my mechanic. She is a little older than you and about half my size. But she still drags me by the ear and tells me not to spend money we don't have frivolously.

I'm kind of curious as to why you'd put up with that.

Put up with what? It is how she shows she cares. She keeps my armor working and keeps me alive. I owe her much.
