Hello. John Watson here.

I've met some of you already but for the rest I'd like to introduce myself as a doctor. I'm from Earth, 2012, I'm a fully qualified surgeon as of that year and familiar with medicine from that time period. If you'd rather not go to Lysa, please get in contact if you ever need medical attention. For the time being I'll be treating anyone for serious problems at the Station, but in the event of an emergency or something minor I can come to you.

Those of you I treated the other night, if you could check in that would be great.

I'm not exactly an expert. [ how do you, a person who occasionally watches Star Trek, explain alternate universe theory to someone from 800 years ago? ]

Imagine someone's drawn the world on a piece of paper twice. If a giant space storm were to rip up one of those bits of paper, that world would be gone but the other world on the other piece of paper's fine. 800 years later it comes back and rips up the other one.

A bit like that, except with the actual world. Worlds.

Yeah, thanks. Warning from one idiot without a clue to another though, you'll find a lot of actual science sounds about as sensible as that while still being proper and correct. I don't think I'm as far off with that mangled attempt to explain as I'd like to be.

But it's so dull. Even the word makes me drowsy. Honestly, I had a tutor that tried to convince me that sums and stars and scales would all be incredibly useful to me one day. I honestly don't know why he acted so surprised when I exiled him after being crowned king.
