It may simply be an impression with no basis in reality, but it seems to me that since the Natha have left, more people have returned to stasis.

I have never been good with numbers. People have often returned to stasis. Do you imply that there has been an increase since the departure of the Natha?
no subject
But yes, that is my impression.

You have clearly kept your eyes keener than I have. If you think more have returned to stasis, what do you make of those who are waking? Are there fewer, or more, or the same?

[ It's not that he's questioning Nightingale, it's just that ]
I've been away for a while.

he almost knows who, but not quite. ]
I can't say for certain, but that is my impression.

You think the way they wake people up is slowing down without them?

I haven't been awake that long myself, but even I think it's a lot.

I find myself in agreement, even if all my evidence is completely anecdotal. More people of my direct acquaintance have returned to stasis than before.
no subject
The same is true in my case as well. [ anecdotal evidence. he's reasonably sure that david, peter and abdul alike would lecture him on that if they were here. ]

people I don't know are at the same time. Maybe there's a way to get the station to give us some statistics? Though I don't know what that would tell us. It's supposed to be something to do with the storm, right?
no subject
That is the explanation I have heard as well, but why it would befall those who've been awake for long over a year is beyond me.

Me and him were talking about compiling a growing list of those who have vanished in case anyone was curious about someone but... Since then I have lost contact with him as well.
[It was extremely worrying actually.]

[ though he wouldn't admit it, he did miss losing one of his oldest... friends here. ]

That has been my impression as well. I know there was an attempt, in the beginning, to keep a list of those who have gone back. I do not know whether it has been kept up to date over the months.
[ especially now that the man who started the initiative is back in stasis himself. ]
