Yeah,

[ He remembers the thing's name— Yppilc— but can't spell it, so spends some time trying to spell it, deleting because it doesn't look right, and then finally just giving up. ]

It's an A.I., probably a failsafe. Not enough to maintain the pods.

The pods were malfunctioning when I woke up. Hard not to blame the disappearance of the Natha.

Power-saving mode, so I guess that meant the emergency ejections triggered more easily. We had to go and pull a few back in.

The pods apparently have an emergency ejection failsafe. A few of them were sent out of the station.
