Yeah I heard about that one. They're not really on my Christmas card list either.

They shouldn't be. Kidnapping is one thing but it wasn't like they had a good reason for it either. The ones who interrogated me gave me some excuse about how special we seemed so naturally we had to know something top secret.

But I would like to qualify for that drink, so—I've visited one of their Altars under the guise of a shaman before. Part of the initiation of simply getting in is drinking the blood of dragons. It's something they once splurged on to incite violent parties outside of their personal circles. The blood leaves you in a rather invulnerable and... confident state, so it wouldn't be surprising if they wanted more power.

Well wyver has a lot of wyverns, hence the name.

For big dragons there haven't been any in a long time.

I have yet to see a wyvern in person! Are they very small that

I know precious little about the dragons of this world, and only slightly more about the dragons of my own, for whatever good that might do you.

As for the shamans, I know from experience that the more radical of their ranks believe their own king to be an agent for the Olympians. They have also been creating chimeras for Twelve knows how long, though I believe there was some effort to put a stop to that little practice in the wake of the riots some moons ago.

As children, we were told stories of the coming of dragons. Or the return of them, rather. There was a particular household that was said to be the keeper of dragons, but that the creatures had since died out.

It was said that the beasts had been bred down quite small by the time they died out. The size of a housecat, or thereabouts.

Kinda like the wyverns here, I guess. They're dragons but not giant dragons, just small ones.
