The video feed shows her sitting in her bedroom, wearing all black with the Royal Guard insignia pinned to her chest, and while ordinarily she'd make herself look prim and proper for a video conference it's kind of hard to do so living in a hovel and not in a Castle-ship. Still, she's trying.]

Upon first waking and learning of the Storm, I had been told that my friends are being held in quarantine, and that continues to remain true for now even as we make do on Olympia. I cannot be the only person here who has animal companions and wishes to reunite with them in the near future.

If anyone here has been reunited with their animal friends, my ears are open as to how you got them back. I... [she hesitates, and then rephrases whatever it is she was going to say.] There are not many living things from my homeworld left, even in the universe where I am from. The space mice had been a great comfort, especially in unfamiliar territory such as this.

[She begins to undo her hair from its updo and...it's a lot of hair for a bun that was so neat and orderly.]

I also wish to inform those I know that I am currently assisting the Royal Guard in the Noble District. It is strange interacting with the nobility here when your own title holds no weight.

[ There isn't much of anything for 76 to say on the question of pets. He's far more interested in the fact that this young woman has also been recruited into the guard. It's not as if all of them are expected to work together, but it's helpful to form a mental list.

She wears the uniform without hesitation, unlike 76 who only plans to put it on when he's on duty. It's worth noting.

What he finds most interesting, though, is her admittance that she's had the chance to interact with the nobles. 76 has been assigned to the Theatre District, so his experience has been different, to say the least. ]

So what are they like?

[ He doesn't comment on her implication that she's some sort of noble herself. It doesn't seem to matter much here. ]

[In all fairness, she's just gotten off her shift. But the outfit she chose is no different from her usual standard affair so to her, it's not uncomfortable to sit around in.]

No different from nobility I have met on other worlds, honestly. I've mostly spent my time around The Sanctuary, so it is nice to see the ways the rich and poor converge and to know the clinic is welcoming to all.

I've noticed some can be...let's say, abrasive. [brats. she wants to say brats.] But they respect those of us in the guard.

Do you think your friend's dog could be here? I only knew of my mice being here because I had been told they're being kept safe in quarantine.

Oddly enough, I could not hear or talk to them while on the station before we landed. Ordinarily I am able to communicate with them regardless of how far we are but, I wonder if things are different here.

I have four of them. They're small, coming in various colours ranging from yellow, blue, and pink, which I've been told are not common colours for mice in other universes.

They're quite clever and intelligent. And yes... [there's a fond smile] they're quite furry.

[She remembered Allura's obvious affection when she spoke of the mice she had at home. She hopes they can be returned soon. It's the second part of Allura's message that had really struck Zelda personally though.

She lets out a self-conscious sigh.]

We can't even refer to those titles, when we're amongst the people of this world. I must admit I have not mentioned mine much at all.

[she's really worried about them. she's worried about all her friends and companions still in stasis, but at the very least she can see them alive and well.

And I have learned the hard way upon arriving here why we've been told not to refer to anything pertaining to other worlds. The last time I had done so, the person gave me a look as though I sprouted another head.

I have a dog I asked to be held in quarantine but I've yet to hear of his release. [ He pretends he doesn't care about the animal - the dog doesn't actually belong to him, he kind of just became a companion along his journey back home - but Lucas likes him more than he lets on. ]

I don't think I've heard anything about how to get animals like that back, but if I hear anything I'll let ya know! I have a familiar back home too. Not like a mouse, but he's like a cat -

[ Also, the fact that there weren't many living things at all where she came from makes Rin want to help even more. It's sad being parted from his own familiar but he can't imagine what it'd be like if only he and Kuro existed. His own pointed ears perk up a little as he tries to smile a bit to try and brighten the mood. ]

What do space mice look like anyway?

They...well, they're mice. They are rather small, furry, with round ears, long thin tails, and their fur can be in various colours, like blue, pink, and yellow.

And the mice are...well, they're all I have of my homeworld. I consider them my friends, and I am able to talk with them.
