[She's been thinking about a past conversation she's had before coming here, about promises made before waking up from stasis, and...well...
The video feed shows her sitting in her bedroom, wearing all black with the Royal Guard insignia pinned to her chest, and while ordinarily she'd make herself look prim and proper for a video conference it's kind of hard to do so living in a hovel and not in a Castle-ship. Still, she's trying.]
Upon first waking and learning of the Storm, I had been told that my friends are being held in quarantine, and that continues to remain true for now even as we make do on Olympia. I cannot be the only person here who has animal companions and wishes to reunite with them in the near future.
If anyone here has been reunited with their animal friends, my ears are open as to how you got them back. I... [she hesitates, and then rephrases whatever it is she was going to say.] There are not many living things from my homeworld left, even in the universe where I am from. The space mice had been a great comfort, especially in unfamiliar territory such as this.
[She begins to undo her hair from its updo and...it's a lot of hair for a bun that was so neat and orderly.]
I also wish to inform those I know that I am currently assisting the Royal Guard in the Noble District. It is strange interacting with the nobility here when your own title holds no weight.

And I have learned the hard way upon arriving here why we've been told not to refer to anything pertaining to other worlds. The last time I had done so, the person gave me a look as though I sprouted another head.

Oh, that sounds unfortunate. I've had some strange reactions amongst the people from the ship, but I haven't spoken about myself much to the locals. [She tugs at a strand of hair thoughtfully.] Though I've been trying to build some kind of alternate history for myself, to make that easier.

And...what sort of alternate history? I am trying to keep things as vague as possible, but I do not wish to pretend that I am from a planet I know very little about.

[Zelda didn't have much attachment to the horse she had been riding recently. She had loved her old horse... but that was a century ago now, and that horse was long gone.
She laughs a bit, self-conscious.]
That's really the question, isn't it! I too don't wish to invent too many fictions, but I was thinking about how to make my own past sound more in line with what happens here. I can't say I was a princess, of course, yet saying I was of noble birth seems close enough.
It's quite hard, when you want to refer to something, and you realise all of it is rooted in something we can't discuss.
