Has anyone found a pod containing someone that was supposed to be dead? That they knew to be dead.

There was something that happened not too long ago that brought different versions of people here. From other dimensions or something, I think. So I don't think it's unbelievable that the Natha would be able to bring living versions of people here.

Taking people from an earlier point in their time stream would be simpler than from an alternate universe. Though their capacity to hold us makes many things possible.

Yep. And people I recognize from far in my world's future, who would expect me to be dead in a contemporary context. The Natha pretty clearly don't interact with time in a linear way. Has anybody given you the 'temporary re-tubing psychic time travel' talk yet?

Not personally, but I expect they're all up there, just because not all of us come from the same time or place.

What gets me is the fact that planet Earth supposedly succumbed to the apocalypse in World War One, in 1985, in 2016, and in 2150-something. The list goes on, ask around. A census would be a fascinating read.

Either there was no storm and they've simply plucked us from our relative timestreams or we're dealing with many similar universes.

aye, i have. people that should be dead, and there are people from far in my future. they pull from when they will, so it seems it doesn't matter to them.

That's the picture that I'm getting, though it may be less that it doesn't matter to them. Time isn't quite as simple as people believe it to be. Considering that this time period is not the same as the ones we were removed from there's more to it.
