Yeah, I used to travel a lot too. It's always nice to have a place to come back to, though.

[ How do you handle emotional situations? John has no idea. He misses his friends, after all, and if this person is about to tell him how much they miss theirs then he is probably going to end up awkward. Also, he is definitely going to say the wrong thing. What if he... tries to channel Teyla? Maybe? ]

[ ... Maybe a stupid question, but it's leading. John contextually has no idea how many of this person's friends are here and how many aren't. Are they even all rescued? John isn't 100% still on if the Natha actually rescue everyone. ]

Where I'm from Mars didn't exactly have a liveable atmosphere. Did you guys terraform it?

Yeah, they terraformed it hundreds of years ago. Made a big city with a neat dome on top to keep the radiation out

So I'm guessing you all stayed inside the dome and the irradiated desert bit was outside?

I think, home is not so much a 'where' as it is a 'whom'.
