Bzzt. Your phone is buzzing, but it doesn't seem to be due to receiving any calls or texts. Upon opening your device, the vibration will stop — however, there will be a faint sound of static as you navigate through it, as though it's been tampered with. Anyone tech-savvy would discover fairly quickly that it's nothing of major concern — nothing's going to explode, thankfully — but it won't take an expert to realize that there's something very different about the network.
All names on your contact page have been erased, leaving only unidentifiable numbers and letters behind. They will constantly change, making it impossible to attach these codes to one person.
Some recent posts on the network may also experience this interference: names will be missing, voice recordings erased, and videos so heavily filtered that you would not be able to see the poster's face. Those old messages in your inbox remain mostly untouched, but any incoming messages will certainly be affected by this strange phenomenon.
Not too long into the morning, however, a new voice will appear on the network. The speaker is unaffected by the phenomenon — has she come with answers?— Perhaps not. The woman doesn't even identify herself before disconnecting altogether. Well, there are worse things that could be happening, but one thing is for sure: this won't be the last time you'll hear from her.Well, this is unfortunate. As infallible as the Natha claim to be, it would seem that their technology is not backwards-compatible with our networks after all. You may experience some interference with your communications while we work this out, but do not be alarmed. I assure you, this is only temporary.
In the meantime, all network activity may be anonymous, at the player's discretion. You may use this post as an pseudo-anonymous post as well as branch out to misfires in personal inboxes or other network posts. If you opt to have your character post (accidentally) anonymously, please indicate so in the subject line. There will be no usernames displayed. For voice and video, the audio may be distorted and faces altered with strange filters. Feel free to be as creative as you please!

Nott backs off from Frederick, knowing that the illusion doesn't hold up well to touch, and does her best to be more reassuring.]
I know myself. I don't feel much different, just a bit... [She takes a guess.] shorter. We don't need to call Henry for something that won't last.
[Won't last is right, if this turns into a big production then her hour will be up sooner rather than later.]

Of course, you know yourself best. Forgive me.
[ Still worried but.....not as worried, to the point that he offers over the brown-wrapped package to her. He's still going to stare at her though, just in case some unknown consequence manifests itself in the next five minutes. ]
Here, I brought them over. I hope the tassels were added well enough.

She inspects the scarf inside with a bright smile.]
It looks great! Perfect for this cold weather.
[And thus, perfect for Caleb.]

I'm glad you like it. Is there anything else you need, knitted or otherwise?
[ In before Nott just cons him into making 29508234 things for Caleb. ]

[She'll push her luck for one more thing, but not more than that, okay. Even she knows when to get out while she's ahead.]

Of course. What other size would I make it?
[ Unless she has some smaller sized friend hiding away somewhere. ]
Is this for a friend of yours?

[Wow, you'd think someone who lived off of conning people would be better at lying.]
