Bzzt. Your phone is buzzing, but it doesn't seem to be due to receiving any calls or texts. Upon opening your device, the vibration will stop — however, there will be a faint sound of static as you navigate through it, as though it's been tampered with. Anyone tech-savvy would discover fairly quickly that it's nothing of major concern — nothing's going to explode, thankfully — but it won't take an expert to realize that there's something very different about the network.
All names on your contact page have been erased, leaving only unidentifiable numbers and letters behind. They will constantly change, making it impossible to attach these codes to one person.
Some recent posts on the network may also experience this interference: names will be missing, voice recordings erased, and videos so heavily filtered that you would not be able to see the poster's face. Those old messages in your inbox remain mostly untouched, but any incoming messages will certainly be affected by this strange phenomenon.
Not too long into the morning, however, a new voice will appear on the network. The speaker is unaffected by the phenomenon — has she come with answers?— Perhaps not. The woman doesn't even identify herself before disconnecting altogether. Well, there are worse things that could be happening, but one thing is for sure: this won't be the last time you'll hear from her.Well, this is unfortunate. As infallible as the Natha claim to be, it would seem that their technology is not backwards-compatible with our networks after all. You may experience some interference with your communications while we work this out, but do not be alarmed. I assure you, this is only temporary.
In the meantime, all network activity may be anonymous, at the player's discretion. You may use this post as an pseudo-anonymous post as well as branch out to misfires in personal inboxes or other network posts. If you opt to have your character post (accidentally) anonymously, please indicate so in the subject line. There will be no usernames displayed. For voice and video, the audio may be distorted and faces altered with strange filters. Feel free to be as creative as you please!

Mayonnaise.
The condiment that was in the fridge for the past couple of days now.
There were three packets in there but now I'm down to one.
The condiment I told you very specifically to ask me for before you go delving into it! And now I come back from Nadril only to find out I'm nearly out of fucking stock!
😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

And somehow I doubt I'm the intended recipient of your messages. Just who do you think I am?

Seriously?
Did he seriously get a misfire in immediately after putting up a post about the new misfire situation they're in?
Goddamn it.]
...... Have you ever eaten eggs?
no subject
Of course I've eaten eggs. Hasn't everyone? They make for a healthy breakfast.
no subject
And you obviously have never heard of mayonnaise which is made from eggs...
[For all he knows you could be some vegan slime alien or something.]
no subject
I suppose that's true. But surely eggs must be a staple, given how many breeds of birds produce them. A world without birds or reptiles sounds truly alien indeed.
[ Anyway. ]
How does one make this mayonnaise? Is it a dish served at dinner
no subject
Pretty much the best condiment ever.
[Not at all a biased opinion.]

[ Sounds kind of gross, tbh. But to each his/her own. ]
It sounds simple enough to make from scratch. Surely they have the ingredients here in Nadril, if you wished to try.

[How dare this heathen not understand the complicated nuances of such a great condiment.]
Kewpie was a specific brand from back on my home. It had a flavor distinct from any other mayonnaise that pretty much put it at the top of the chart in terms of flavor. It was used on pretty much anything by almost everyone.
... And that brat took the last of it.
