As I am sure many of you are aware at this point there seem to be quite a few cultural differences here that many of us are slowly trying to accustom ourselves to upon arriving on El Nysa.
One of the more obvious ones is this planets interests in celebrating ones own... lascivious tendencies.
Surely I can't be the only one to be moderately agitated by the constant barrage of aphrodisiac laced trickery, both man-made and natural on this planet.

I suppose what I'm trying to bring to discussion is, everyone's personal responses to what's forced upon us. Especially those of us who live in Wyver who have no way to avoid it every time the end of the month roles around. You know, since it seems to be a time based situation over Olympia's more location based magic.

I'm only processing what you have told me and understanding that.

As long as you figure something out then I am certain it won't be a problem anymore, or at least it would be a relief for people if it isn't.

The main issue now simply seems to be all the menial side jobs I will have to take up in order to secure funding.

No, I doubt any business which relies on something such as petty theft will be able to last for very long.

If I am going to gain an income I am going to make sure it is legitimate enough that it doesn't end up crashing and burning the business I a, trying to create. As for ways, it shows enough interest that I have participants willing enough to help test it, but judging by mass opinion I doubt it will be enough to launch more than a initial prototype.

If I actually wish to mass produce it I will need a much more solidly gained starter income.

Thankfully with my current job combined with a few bigger side tasks it shouldn't be that difficult..... Hopefully.

That's a shame to hear. I do wish I could do more to help. I could take a job here and there and give you the earnings if needed. But, I doubt I'm a decent source of supply.

I thought about them, but nothing has really stuck to me.

I guess I'm not used to having so much freedom.

Hiding and fighting perhaps. But it also means you're free to go wherever the fuck you want.

Traveling counts as a hobby I would think.

Same goes for fighting if you enjoy it enough.

There's still a lot of unknown places to us, so that might be fun.

There are. One of the interesting things about technically being an alien I guess. This entire world is so new in more ways than we can even comprehend. Now it's up to us to explore it and figure it out in hopes that we can make this place ours.

As long as we don't just take over it. Not that I honestly care what people do, but something like that feels as if it would cause some sort of trouble.

Now that would be quite the twist wouldn't it?
All those sci-fi horror stories out there of aliens taking over worlds and in the end it turns out we were the evil-aliens all along.

But nah, I'm way too lazy for that. I'd rather just figure out what I can in order to make a nice quiet living here.

Well, they did want to do something like that where I’m from.

I hope that all the others are lazy like you in that aspect. It would be a shame to see a pretty world like this fall to ruin.

Really now? Damn that's a shame.

I suppose, with me, it helps that this land is already fairly similar to how my own world was. It was easy for me to adjust and grow comfortable. So I cannot imagine wishing to change it or ruin the natural course things are already running.

Really the only thing keeping me from living a normal life and breaking away from the orbiters completely was that they promised to get my scriptures back if I had helped them.

Otherwise, I would have attempted the life of a regular civilian some time ago.

What sort of scriptures? I assume you haven't gotten them back yet, so there's no reason you can't make an attempt to do that until you get them.

Important writings from my home world. Two of them belonged to my master and after so many years trying to retrieve them I am not giving up just because they're now in the hands of someone else.

Until then whatever they request of me I'll accomplish, at least until they recover them.

[A quiet relaxing life will just have to wait until then.]

I wish you luck in getting them back in that case. It's a shame to lose something important like that, but at least there's still a chance you will possess them again.

That's the plan. Work my ass off, get the scriptures, and then fuck off to some place where I can live my life in peace.

A decent plan and no, I've got close to nothing besides making sure friends are fine. I'm a rather 'dull' type of being, I suppose.
