I need information on the fugitives. Don't care if you're best friends or you've crossed paths with them once. Backgrounds, real names, affiliations, common hangouts. Also addresses on where they live. Give me a scent to work with and they'll be found.

[ another inhale of nicotine before he smothers the embers on a nearby surface. he's still as displeased as five seconds ago. ]

Also don't really care if they're in deep with this Shady Fucker or just a matter of "wrong place, wrong time". They have questions to answer one way or another. Got a problem with that? Take a wild guess on how I feel.

[She gives him a rather incredulous look.]

[She's already written up a little report, actually, in neat, even script. There's not a whole lot on there, unfortunately, but it contains a few names and physical descriptions, as well as Rosalind's guesses on where they might reside. But before she hands it over--]

You were speaking to Ms. Highwind earlier. What did you mean, you track them down by scent?

Right. Pardon me and my skepticism. Comes with the, uh. [ gestures at himself. ] Territory. Hope you understand.

[ Bigby takes a glance at the report she has prepared and looks rather surprised. perhaps even amused. pleased? it's hard to put a finger on his current emotion. he reaches forward to take it from her without asking before she drops that bomb of a question, causing that surprised/amused/pleased look to drop in favor of disappointment. ]

Forgot that shit is public knowledge. No wonder you wanted a face-to-face.

[ he can't help but reach up to pinch the bridge of his nose, sighing heavily soon after. ]

[ maybe he should have made a note that people can contact him anonymously or through private channels. ah, well. that would be unlike him, and we all know we can't afford Bigby to not be Bigby. ]

[ there's the most subtle hints of a smirk there on the corners of his lips. he's (not) sorry for being so difficult. ]

But even if someone were to disguise their scent, you have the advantage of intelligence on your side, don't you . . . but even intelligence can be overcome. A scent bomb in the middle of a crowded street would fool your nose easily, wouldn't it?

[This isn't a secret, but it's still something she isn't eager to spread around. That being said, she wants badly to know more about what Bigby's whole deal is, and she can't do that without offering him something. So . . . ]

[She's very tired of this planet, Bigby, it means she's got a shorter fuse than usual. Still, while the sarcasm is dry and drawling, it isn't actually nasty, and it's not meant to offend.]

Vanishes is, perhaps, the best word for it. She's simply there one second and gone the next, her disappearance as soft as a shadow and as (apparently) effortless as a sigh. But oh, there she is: this time appearing right next to him, glancing up in mild amusement.]

[ not for long. she's gone and he shuts up immediately. just as he looks around, she's next to him, acting as if she was a magician who had pulled a fast one on her audience. Bigby sputters his lips immediately. ]

Well, that's cute. You're ageless and you can teleport. That makes it... what? Time-related, I'm guessing?

[ just a wild guess from a wolf that pretends to be a human that works as a sheriff. ]
