[It's later in the day and the bomb has gone off, but someone hasn't yet heard about it. He's got a slightly more pressing question right now. It's a good one, really.]

HOW DO YOU FIGHT A PERSON WITH A GUN????

[He's also kind of an older guy too. Texting doesn't come natural to him.]

Depends on the armor and the bullet.

If you won't take advantage of the tools available to you, then you have to learn how those tools work. Many opponents pick up a gun and only focus on what's down the sights... if something's in front of them they fail to consider what might be behind them.

Perhaps they come from a place where the opponents have something more formidable than a gun.

[you know like paracausal alien magic or mastery over timelines that can erase a person from existence.]

Or perhaps they've just figured out that prideful warriors tend not to live as long.

I suppose that depends on how much value you place to your personal survival.

[Ikora's not sure how getting a bigger stronger weapon is less craven than just using a gun but...]

Yes, brute force is always an option.

One wonders if the trouble of capturing a dragon and bending it to your will is truly worth the ability to say you still have your pride.

I guess that is up to your personal metric for "worth."

I guess that is up to your personal experience with the concept of a god.
