Sooo a while back I put in a little bit of a request with our alien overlord hosts. And shockingly enough it not only came through, it was actually what I asked for! Crazy right? Turns out good things happen to not-so-great people after all, which, obviously I don't mean me. I'm amazing.

Anyway what I got was this really awesome game from back home called "Bunkers & Badasses". So awesome in fact that there's still a copy of it even after the universe was destroyed which I feel is pretty indicative of the sheer levels of awesomeness we're dealing with here.

I don't know if any of you guys had tabletop back home but basically you create a character by choosing your fantasy race and class, and then you go on adventures and roll a bunch of dice! Bunker Teams are best in groups of four but being the utterly amazing Bunker Master I am, I'm willing to accommodate anyone who's interested in playing through a short campaign or two. The rules aren't too hard and making a character is easy.

I'm thinking maybe in the next two weeks or so? Let me know if you're interested or have any questions.

The drag scene, baby. It's a little like roleplay, in it's way.

Thaaat's what I thought you meant. I've mentioned that Bunkers and Badasses isn't, like...a sex thing right? The roleplaying and tabletop parts aren't the way this place makes them sound.

Drag isn't a sex thing. It can be an occupation, a hobby or a calling, but it's not something people do to get laid.

Okay that's...yeah. My bad, that wasn't what i meant. It's just--I had some people before thinking it was a sex thing and when you mentioned roleplaying outside of games I just sort of...assumed...

Yeah. Your bad. [That's a little waspish, but there's a pause and a sigh at the end of the line.] I can't expect straight people to understand. It's... inhabiting one's femininity, not quite dressing up and pretending to be a wizard. Though I have met enough trolls in my time.

...Uhh, wow. You really sure you just want to assume what people are like that? Like that first one was my bad for sure, but at least I didn't say it because I was trying to dis anyone. I've had like five people heckling me about being on top of a table with elves at this point.

I can't see anything wrong with being on top of a table with elves. All the ones I've met here have been perfectly charming.

Not you too...! Yes they're nice, but I'm not--the game isn't about that. It's about adventuring and getting super-powerful gear and stuff. Bringing peace to a war-torn realm.

But if you must know I am...uh. I mean, I guess either is fine? I haven't--really thought about it too much because it's never been a thing people cared about? Guys can be attractive too.

[ Says the man who fanboy'd Handsome Jack and then later the mysterious Zer0, like, super hard. ]

Not me too, I'm just saying if it were it wouldn't be terrible. You know the best way to stop people making jokes about things that upset you?

Stop being upset by them. You have no idea how much that pisses people off.

'Done stuff.' Well, aren't you the dark horse. That's a refreshing attitude, though. Where I'm from people care far more than they should when it's none of their business at all.

The thing is, I think some of them actually believe that's what this game is about. That it's some weird...bedroom role-play. That's the part that gets to me. It's not a fetish.

[ His life is so hard, Prior??? No one understands. ]

Look I don't usually talk about this sort of thing okay? Sex in general, not--the doing stuff with guys part. That's fine, not an issue. It's hard to imagine a place where it is an issue. Why would people care about that?

Again. Sexuality is not sex. God knows I knew I was more interested in Ken than Barbie from an early age. But it's your business - all of it. You don't have to talk about anything you don't want to.

[Even if what's being described sounds practically utopian.]

Can men marry, where you're from? Serve in the military? Give blood? Not get beaten up in the bathrooms at ill-chosen bars?

I know, I'm just saying that's why I assumed you were making a sex joke before. Forget it.

But as for all that other stuff....I mean, yeah?? [ Why would anyone need to ask that? ] The beating up part depends on what kind of bar you go to, some of those Pandoran ones are full of Bandits. But that's more to do with them wanting your loot or money and not who you're dating.

Then you come from a better place than me. Why not so long ago, a little before I was born, they were putting men like me on trial for sexual deviance, saying we could be enemies of the state. So I guess people can get a little touchy. Like you and bunking up with badasses.

[Ahem.]

Sorry. But sex is ridiculous. If you're going to joke about anything it may as well be that.
