Sooo a while back I put in a little bit of a request with our alien overlord hosts. And shockingly enough it not only came through, it was actually what I asked for! Crazy right? Turns out good things happen to not-so-great people after all, which, obviously I don't mean me. I'm amazing.

Anyway what I got was this really awesome game from back home called "Bunkers & Badasses". So awesome in fact that there's still a copy of it even after the universe was destroyed which I feel is pretty indicative of the sheer levels of awesomeness we're dealing with here.

I don't know if any of you guys had tabletop back home but basically you create a character by choosing your fantasy race and class, and then you go on adventures and roll a bunch of dice! Bunker Teams are best in groups of four but being the utterly amazing Bunker Master I am, I'm willing to accommodate anyone who's interested in playing through a short campaign or two. The rules aren't too hard and making a character is easy.

I'm thinking maybe in the next two weeks or so? Let me know if you're interested or have any questions.

Oh...so it's like a book you can play. That's...fascinating.

[ Sort of, but he can see the appeal in it. People who want to adventure without the danger could do so safely with such a thing.

A good thing to have he thinks if Rhys world is truly perilous.

For sure! Of course, there's always room for more. We'd be totally happy to have you there, do you need help....making your character or anything? Could I? Help you make your character?

[ He may sound just a little bit super-excited and overeager to help here but don't mind all that okay just say yes ]

[ The man's enthusiasm is ...well...it's something to be admired even if it's a little embarrassing. He's definitely trying not to look exasperated by it. ]

Well, I wouldn't know what I was doing so I do think I'll need your help if you're all right with that.

[ who's he kidding, of course Rhys would be fine with it.

If he asked the man to kill for him they would probably ask who, how and when. ]

[ HEY NOW. Rhys isn't that...bad... He'd at least ask why Senren wanted someone killed before considering it. Also murder's not as strange where he comes from as you'd think like his last boss was vented into space so someone else could take his job. His company bylaws include strangling traitors?? ]

Then consider me at your service. What sort of character are you thinking? Something up-in-your-face, or more of a support role?

[ It's still pretty bad. Even the strangling traitors part.

Sort of character he'd want to play? There's just the longest pause as he's still unsure how all of this works.]

I....a mage role? That's usually where I fall in to.

[ Sssort...offffff? He can tell Lavellan's trying so Rhys will cut him more slack than he has other people. And also just because he's an elf and Rhys loves him like god could he maybe hold your hand sometime ]

Do you want to be a mage, or is that just what you feel like you should do? Because you can literally be anything, it's fine.

I mean...it's what I'm good at so why not? I have no shame in being a mage.

Alright then, mage it is! You know we don't actually have a ton of spellcasters yet? Usually these games are flooded with them. A lot more people want to be physical fighters this time around.

...You mean magic users can't be both? I find that fairly odd.

[ After all, he uses a magical spirity sword and rushes on in all the time. ]

Regardless, I suppose it'll help balance us out.
