Sooo a while back I put in a little bit of a request with our alien overlord hosts. And shockingly enough it not only came through, it was actually what I asked for! Crazy right? Turns out good things happen to not-so-great people after all, which, obviously I don't mean me. I'm amazing.

Anyway what I got was this really awesome game from back home called "Bunkers & Badasses". So awesome in fact that there's still a copy of it even after the universe was destroyed which I feel is pretty indicative of the sheer levels of awesomeness we're dealing with here.

I don't know if any of you guys had tabletop back home but basically you create a character by choosing your fantasy race and class, and then you go on adventures and roll a bunch of dice! Bunker Teams are best in groups of four but being the utterly amazing Bunker Master I am, I'm willing to accommodate anyone who's interested in playing through a short campaign or two. The rules aren't too hard and making a character is easy.

I'm thinking maybe in the next two weeks or so? Let me know if you're interested or have any questions.

Oh man you've been missing out. They've released a few editions since then which...actually does no matter since we are probably not from the same universe. Never mind! I'll give everyone the rundown before we start and all that, don't worry.

In my world it was called "Dungeons and Dragons".

Oh....suddenly those other comments make a lot more sense now. It's another tabletop game. Duh.

Yeah, it... sounds like yours is pretty close to mine. Just maybe some different names for things.

Well there are a lot of different games out there. What kind of dice pool does it use?

I always just played with a d20 as a kid.

That's actually pretty similar then! Aside from damage of course. D20's the most common.

Yeah, we weren't super creative, just followed the handbook.

That's not a bad place to start. That's how me and my friends did it until we became familiar with the rules and stuff for every class. You'll probably be ahead of a lot of people when we start so I wouldn't worry too much.

Just in case though I am going over all the rules and everything.

Sounds good. There might be some notable differences between your version and the one I know.
