01 | Video | UN: Inquisitor
[ The feed turns on with a young elven man. Blond, windswept hair pushed from his eyes so the green shines more prominently. He sits at the head of the bed, leg crossed over the other, fingers knitted together and folded in front of him. There's a look to his face, one he's practiced enough to make it seamless and natural; it's focused, determined and confident.
He's planned it in his head, figured the speech. Now it's time to present. Hopefully, all bases are covered.
A smile plays on his lips but it's still with that air of leadership. ]
To my fellow refugees of Thesea, I am Inquisitor Lavellan.
Back in my world of Thedas I was the leader of a group known as the Inquisition. The goal of our group was to bring order back to a world that was thrown into chaos by an event known as The Breach.
In the end, it appeared we've failed due to the matter of the Storm, but I didn't come here to talk about failure. I came here with an idea and to succeed.
[A small pause for dramatic effect before he continues.]
We are a group of diverse people, probably the most that any of our individual worlds have ever seen. We come with different experiences, as different races, creeds, and a variety of knowledge.
What I'm suggesting is something similar to what my Organization has done. We bring order. We work together, bring our talents and skills to the forefront and find a way to destroy the Storm and hopefully save what we have lost. If there is a chance we may be able to restore our own worlds and go back to our lives if we choose too.
Darma said we must choose our side but I believe we can make our own. The foundation I'm looking to make is a neutral ground but with the end goal of defeating the Storm. That is our true enemy.
[ Finally, he unlaces his fingers and gestures a hand, holding it out to the side. ]
But, I do not intend to elect myself leader. I was chosen for the position back home for a quality I possessed but here? We're all on equal ground. I don't make any assumptions you would choose a complete stranger as a leader who has yet proven himself to all of you. What I suggest is we make a council instead. Those who are familiar with leading or have that quality, are willing to take up the duties required for it and will help do what is right.
From there, we would need agents, volunteers. Anyone willing to lend aid in gathering research and to help us secure some kind of base where we can operate from.
[ The smile becomes more broader, brighter and it's brimming with confidence. All playing into that careful mask he had to build back home when facing the mass public.]
I believe we can do this together. We showed that even when we were thrown into disarray we can unite and overcome. Consider what I've suggested.
For now, have a good day everyone.
[And he clicks off.]

That signature silver hair of his a tad droopy too since it's wet. He has yet to style it properly, so some of the pale strands get into his eyes.]
This sounds like nothing but trouble! Darma isn't gonna like this, pipsqueak.
[Yes, he's making fun of you already, shorty.]

No one told you you had to watch, Lozer. But, man that is one huge man. However, he looks at the man as he attempts the insult and there is just a curious look that comes to his face.
Nope. he isn't rising to this bait. It's kind of sad if he really thinks about it. ]
I don't think she's going to care so long as we do our part to help the people here or try and stop the storm. But, please go on and point other things about my appearance. I can assure you it's nothing that hasn't been said.
Though, usually they're far more creative.
Pipsqueak, really. [ he says it with something of a laugh. He's heard better from a nug. ]
no subject
The only loser around here is you, loser!Loz makes a face once he heard the reply. It seems that he's not too impressed with this mouthy pipsqueak.]If were suppose to care first about the Storm over anything else, then why the heck would we join your little nonexistent organization? We should follow what the Orbiters said, we owe them that much.
Besides, what do you even know? Has Darma told you personally that she wouldn't mind? Do you even know whether an organization like this would even be allowed?
[He rolls his eyes a little.]
No one wants to join something as hair brain as this, shorty. We have better things to do than to listen to you preach.
no subject
Than by all means, hang up. If you think this is a ridiculous idea no one is forcing you to listen to what I say. No one is saying you must join. But, do presume you know what people want.
All I offer is a chance to work together and help stop such a thing from happening to this place.
no subject
But aren't you just presuming that the Olympians would even allow this organization to thrive?
no subject
And no, no the pouting is definitely reducing any amount of threat. ]
no subject
[He's still pouting but not so much. The big guy looks oddly sincere now.]
People don't take disagreements well.
no subject
That's true, but, that's what talking is for. Compromise. If there are disagreements they can be worked through.
no subject
[See, this overgrown brat is calling 'bullshit' already.]
Seems more like squawking to me.
no subject
[ Yup, he's going to make fun of the brat now. ]
no subject
[Who's being a pretentious little brat now, elf?]
Real clever.
no subject
Only the best for clever people.
