hey so these disappearances are spooky and seasonally appropriate and all but things have been kinda boring lately right

[have they, kagari. have they really.]

so i was thinking it might be fun to play a game
any of you guys ever heard of would you rather?

basically how it goes is someone posts two things (the more ridic the better) and people respond with their decision on which they'd rather do and then come up with their own two things

it ends up with us all judging each other's life and choices and nobody lives happily ever after (◡‿◡✿)

let's start with a classic: would you rather be attacked by 100 duck-sized horses or by 1 horse-sized duck?

[ It’s been a Thing for awhile. It’s not subtle, and while he has a hard time putting words to his feelings. Yes, he’s aware he has feelings for Enjolras. Yes, he’s aware those feelings run deep, but he often rambles in circles around it, avoiding the word “love” entirely despite the fact that it is the most apt description.

He despised me once. Now he tolerates me at best. It's an improvement, but I could not bear him despising me once more.

[Honestly, the word "love" is awkward. For all Kagari claimed to be well-versed in it one time when he was shooting his mouth off with Akane, if he were really honest he'd have to say he doesn't know what love feels like, in any form of the term. Did his parents love him, once? Had he loved them? Does he love the other members of his division in the MWPSB? He'd admitted to himself once that the place where all of them are is where he belongs, too, but "love" is still a prickly, elusive concept. He'd rather avoid it if he can, too.]

idk man, hating someone for having feelings for them sounds really fucking stupid
i mean i don't really know him or anything so maybe i'm talking out my ass here but he reminds me of someone i did know
and if they're at all similar he probably actually cares a lot more than that and just acts like a dick so he won't have to admit it

I believe he does care. I have always considered Enjolras to be my friend, but to say he felt the same is incorrect.

[ Being mutual friends is kind of a new thing. ]

I told him recently what it was that I died for. He did not understand why. If he doesn't fully despise me, he at least despises me for that act.

to be fair dude, i don't think he'd have understood if you said anything short of the kind of thing he'd die for

[At least, that's the impression Kagari has of him.]

i mean it's not totally a bad thing to believe in stuff i guess but he gets kind of weird about wanting everyone to become a crusader type like him

[ That’s not the incorrect impression. Enjolras had been under the impression that Grantaire had died for France, just as all the others had. When Grantaire chose to reveal the truth, it became a much more confusing situation. ]

More than anything else, that is what he believes in. He understood me to be the same in the end, but I was not.

You say you don't know him well, but do you speak to him often?
