[Is this not about a medical thing, this time? Seems so. Claire's a bit more relaxed than she usually is when using the network, and it might have something to do with that glass of wine in front of her.]

It's my fifty-first birthday this weekend. Do I win the award for most elderly amongst us refugees?

It's hard to believe I was in my late twenties when I first came to Olympia. Stasis is... strange, to say the least, but I'm sure any of us here for an amount of time realize that.

[Now, let's see who's going to be a smartass and make a grandma comment. She's waiting. It's there, in her smile. Do it.]

[It's not that she won't engage unless it's a medical thing! She is, somewhere in there, genuinely congratulatory over Claire's nameday. No video reply would ever convey this.]

[She doesn't know what other worlds use as nameday traditions. It must be something, though, or she'd not have announced it.]

Nothing grand, which is to my liking, really. I think I'd just like to spend the day with my children.

[Brianna, at least, has a plan.]

Children? I thought you'd only the one here.

[She met Bree and eventually sussed out that she belonged to Claire. It sounds like a cozy nameday, though Krile doesn't have the energy to say so through typing.]

Three. I have two boys living with me as well, though one is quite older than the others.

[Fergus is in his early thirties, but still young enough to be Claire's. And Theon is a complicated matter, but not so complicated as to not be claimed by Claire.]

[So she's of the sort that collects wayward children as others do figurines or trinkets. Krile nods to no one. Perhaps this world needs more like her.]

I suppose they are well aware of your feelings in that regard, then.

[She almost wishes this were a spoken conversation instead, because the act of inputting text is tedious and draining as most everything is right now. But then she'd have to want to say words.]

[Claire does seem the mothering sort. Krile has vague memories of being carried through the snowstorm like a child...]

Then it sounds like I ought to leave you to your celebrating. Don't do anything too rash.

[She ought to have questions, especially about aging while in stasis...but she just can't muster them now.]

Of course. It isn't as though traveling there now is difficult.
