It's hard to believe I was in my late twenties when I first came to Olympia. Stasis is... strange, to say the least, but I'm sure any of us here for an amount of time realize that.

No! No, no, no. I returned to stasis... a while back, before I ever met you. I was in there for three days, but I came back a few decades older.

Sometimes. [She's a little more somber now, talking.] I tend to give it two or three days before I let myself believe someone's truly gone back to stasis, but I've seen people come back after longer with new memories or a bit of time to them.

How does that work? If the storm destroyed our worlds...how can anyone go back?

[Then again, how can people come from different times? None of this makes sense.]

I'm not really sure. It's not intentional, that I know. It's... the consequences of using something that no one truly understands. But it may have something to do with multiple timelines.

Anything is possible, really.
