hello everyone ヾ(・ω・o)
my name is ren and i have a couple of questions about house stuff
or finding a place to live in wyver stuff i guess
though if you live somewhere else and want to talk about that then go ahead~

anyway, i was wondering what parts of the city are good for newcomers other than the old city
i know the old city seems to be where it's easiest to get somewhere but it's not really very nice compared to the rest of the city... (T▽T)
and it's been a really long time since i had to find a place to live, and doing it by myself is harder because it means i have to worry about money more... \| ̄ヘ ̄|/

[As someone who's been pretty well off his entire life, the "having to worry about money" angle is probably the newest part of all this to Ren.]

i haven't been here very long so i thought it might be best to get advice from people who've been here longer~
since a lot of you seem to have been here a pretty long time
so i'd really appreciate anyone's help! ҉*\( ‘ω’ )/*҉

There's a famous saying within my world:

'Don't practice what you don't preach.'

Perhaps those words may do you some good. Because I'm not taking the advice to blindly agree from a man who obviously isn't much of the unquestioning moron himself.

[What a backhanded compliment.]

I'm only just repeating what you yourself said.

[He can feel himself outwardly sighing. This conversation is running in circles.]

In fact, I can pretty much take that opinion of yours and say the opposite of you. You really should take some of these matters a bit more seriously no?

It's not a matter of enjoyment. It's a matter of responsibility.

It just proves how young you are, mentally at least, that you never had to go around with any such worries bearing down upon you.

[Oh goodness! Seeing that on his screen almost managed to get a laugh out of Sanzo... Almost.]

Perhaps if there was someone in this world who did such things. I doubt there are many certified therapists in this world though. At least I most certainly haven't found any yet.

It there are I'm sure they're all booked up with all us crazy assholes the Natha keep bringing down here.

You would think such people would advertise their services around if that were the case.

Although if you're insinuating that you may know of someone good I'm more than open to recommendations.
smithandwesson: (glassseeesss)

[personal profile] smithandwesson 2019-01-08 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
Of course. I'll be happy to drop some recommendations the moment I hear of some.

[God only knows both of them obviously need it.]

'Friends'. I don't believe I have any idea what you're talking about.

Besides, it's only right that I play 'good samaritan' and help those in need. So if I find someone running around giving free psyche evaluations it's my obligation to offer up those services.

It's a priests duty to help the sick, right?

You genuinely believe there are people in this world who have absolutely nothing wrong with them what-so-ever?

Of course everyone has something fucking them up in some way or another. If anything, it's those who deny what may be wrong with them who are those with the most problems.

At least, that's what I've always seen from personal experience.
smithandwesson: (bang bang motherfucker)

[personal profile] smithandwesson 2019-02-10 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know what makes you think that I can't believe in people experiencing genuine happiness.

I simply think that it's impossible for a person to experience that happiness all the time. And that it's often those who try to force that sense of constant joy that often need someone to talk to and reach out to the most.

[He can name quite a few people off the top of his head that he knows that rings true for actually.]

I don't know why you must constantly assume that I am just always angry. Have you ever taken a moment to think that it is perhaps simply the company I keep which determines my mood at that time?
smithandwesson: (flashdances)

[personal profile] smithandwesson 2019-02-15 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not angry at happy people. I'm angry at annoying people. There's a difference.
smithandwesson: (where are my eyes?)

[personal profile] smithandwesson 2019-02-16 07:59 pm (UTC)(link)
... There is a point in which 'happy' is so obnoxious and sugar-filled that it loses its sincerity.

You've long since passed that point.
