Yes, and the ruins there are cursed, shunned by everyone. Anyone who tried to explore them had never come back.

I don't know what you mean by that. It's a dark place that I don't think the gods can touch.

Sometimes people say that a place or a thing, or even a person, is cursed more as a figure of speech and not to say that they have actually been cursed. Though it sounds to me like you mean it's an actual accursed place.

The Valyrians toiled in fire and blood, and as such paid the price. There are other places like their ruins, haunted by suffering and death.

I believe in the virtues that we set out to accomplish. It's true that we might fail, but it is worth trying.

Sometimes you have to fail in order to succeed.
It's a lesson my people have had to learn the hard way a few times over, and something I suspect the people down on that planet are still contending with.
