I feel like every time I use this thing it's something like this, isn't it?

[Claire's in front of the camera that's set on something, just so she can step back and motion at what once was her up-and-coming clinic. It still is, but... the holes in the ceiling and that collapsed wall that sent her medicine cabinet to the floor is a bit of a set back.

At least the roof isn't about to cave in. Probably. She glances up at a creak before looking back to the screen.]

My clinic's taken some damage, but not as much as the Sanctuary. If anyone would be so kind as to help me, be it medically or by doing some heavy lifting, we can set up some cots and treat people here. It's not a lot of space, but we can set up outside as well, and go out to those that aren't able to make the journey. Any and all help would be appreciated, and please feel free to discuss among yourselves if you've got any helpful ideas. Now's the time.

[It's sort of like the riots. But there wasn't a giant stone reminder of how they almost got destroyed looming in the sky.

Claire takes a breath before carrying on.]

I would also ask those who are able to help with the recovery and removal of bodies do so. With all the time... travel [was that a wince?] I don't know if we'll be dealing with rotting and festering corpses in the next few hours or not. People need to be returned to their families and properly buried.

I rather can't believe we're having this conversation a second time. Have you enough ready hands? I can ask for assistance in making the trip, if not.

[Most of her friends have chocobos, some of them fly, and every single one of them is a two-seater bird if the second "seat" is occupied by Krile Baldesion.]

I know. [She sighs, smiling slightly. It's getting ridiculous.]

Are you in Wyver, currently? I wouldn't want to take you away if you're needed there.

Of course I'm in Wyver. It only makes sense to be as far from actual assistance as possible when I offer it.

[She isn't testy at Claire. It's the situation more than anything. Everyone is still on edge, and no one can be sure what exactly is at stake anymore, and Krile has come to discover a great deal of mistrust in...well, anyone other than the refugees themselves.

At least she knows when she's slipped up.]

Sorry. I thought- well, what I thought doesn't matter at the moment. If necessary, one of my friends can bring me to you via chocobo.

[That's a surprising level of sass, but Claire does understand it's been a trying time--then again, it always is, isn't it? Either way, she takes no offense.]

It's all right, Krile. I just don't know the state of things in Wyver. I can manage just fine here if you need to be there.

[Hm. Most of the 'need' comes from her friends, whose carefully rebuilt lives have been summarily upended, if not destroyed all over again, by the clash between watcher and dragon.]

I'll not claim for certain that the people of Wyver are the hardier sort, but they do take well to a crisis.

Both, actually.

[That didn't even take any thought. Once you've survived one Calamity, soldiering on through another doesn't leave you quite so destroyed, at least on the surface.]

They are all the more likely to shirk my offers of help on both fronts, though at least I have the comfort of informing my friends of the folly in that decision.

Believe me, I know how it is. How many times do you hear I'm fine when they clearly are not?

Only every other day, and that's if I've taken an average.

[Some days, particularly in trying times, the clamor of "I'm pretending I'm fine" is most overwhelming.]

I suppose it is a comfort to know that people from every world are equally prone to avoiding help in specifically this way.
