Sooo... [ There's a bit of an awkward silence before Lena lets out a small cough. ]

It's been a year and we aren't dead yet! Most of us aren't ... some of us haven't gone through death here ... the world below us is sort of crashing and burning a bit ... but, we're all still here and alive! I like to think that's an improvement.

[ Is it an improvement from her previous life? No, not really. But, Lena does want to try cheer people up and brighten up the mood, even if she started off a little shaky because it's not like she does this often. ]

If you've been here the entire time, or just for a few months, I'd love to hear about what you've come to enjoy about this place. [ Because everyone has had to have lived differently here and gone through different experiences, and by getting people to talk about what they've enjoyed and learned to move is a great way to lighten everyone's spirits.

Right?

She hopes so. Besides, this gives her the chance to meet new people too. ]

I doubt it. In the year I've been here, I've seen one other person from my world. And he's been asleep for... I guess a while now?

At least they're safe. Sort of.

But, yeah, they're safe at least. [ She doesn't believe the Natha will do anything bad to them because if they were going to, they would have already done so. ]

We can hope, anyhow. I don't know how much I trust them after they're disappearing act.

Yeah... that's made a lot of people feel the same, and even I'm a little hesitant when it comes to trusting them. I like to think the best of people, but, y'know.

Uh-huh. I think it's a good way to live at least.

Can't argue with you there. I've got a friend -- [at home, she starts to say] asleep who is optimism personified.

Man, I wish I could meet them now. I really miss being around people like that -- not that you're not fun to talk to.

Not that, but...

[ Maybe she's just had some bad luck with finding those types of people or at least sticking to them. Most people she's come across as quite serious. ]

I guess I just wish I could meet more of them.
