Good day. ( nightingale's tone is pleasant and polite, his accent the kind you'd hear from a bbc newscaster. ) I seem to have acquired a pet. Does anyone know how to best care for a sugar glider? ( ordinarily, he'd ask john watson, not because of his medical expertise but because the man seems to have amassed a small army of animals, but john is — unavailable. in stasis.

nightingale isn't going to let himself linger on the loss. )

I would also be thankful for restaurant recommendations in Flona Cove.

I don't dislike them on principle.

( he'd threatened to turn toby the ghost-hunting dog into gloves if he misbehaved, of course, but he'd never made true on the threat. it helps that he's capable of sending animals to sleep at will. )

A sugar glider? Is that an actual thing? SOunds like a type of candy.

As for Flona Cove, all the places around there are fairly good. There was a really good seafood place that sold skewers that I was partial too. But I warn you in advance, avoid taking a dip in any non-regulated hot springs. There's a big reason they're not advertised and shown off as tourist attractions.

Do you remember the name of the seafood place? And I will keep that in mind, but what prompted the warning?

... It looks like a strange little chipmunk-mouse. I can't help but notice that many people these days are getting pretty weird looking pets.

[He sighed audibly.]

The place is called "Sea Skewer Paradise" and the warning is something gained from experience, unfortunately.

It came from an egg, which only makes matters stranger. I'm by no means an expert, but I'm reasonably certain sugar gliders don't usually lay eggs.

... The water to some of the lagoons there naturally hold the same sort of affects on the body that many of the foods and drinks here are also celebrated for having. It is the same effect that is common in the Red Light District in Olympia.

[He's trying his damndest to say it as outright as he could without actually saying it.]

This world is pretty fucking weird sometimes.

[That's intended towards both the lagoons as well as the concept of sugar monkies hatching from eggs.]

... So yeah. Avoid those. Don't jump into any waters that aren't advertised by the city.

The ones with a wide selection of wine. There's this one that serves crab, just before the pier. I've been itching to try it.
