Coalition's coming up real soon, and I know plenty of us find it somewhat worthy of suspicion. I'd like to be in the area, but not attend, just to keep an eye on things from the outside in the event of an emergency. If anyone would like to join me, I'd appreciate the backup.

Optimism and realism don't cancel each other out. I want it to be fine, I think there's a good chance nobody'll risk the rage (or friendly fire) with both factions in one spot, but history demands caution.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Just be careful, please. Anything can happen. I want to believe it'll be a quiet event, but we haven't had quiet in a long time.

I'm good at careful. I mean that in a non-bullshit way, even. Looking after hundreds of people under my command is what I do - what I did - every day.
