What sort of music did you listen to, back on your home world? Were their many genres, or did it all sound the same? Are there specific instruments, or was it all electronic? If there are no lyrics, how would you describe it? If there are lyrics, would you like to write them down? ... Did you enjoy it, or are you not the type to consume what must be one of the greatest form of art?

[He might be a little biased. He also has to take a breath, after all that.]

Or, if you would like, simply name a specific song and artist. Covers are acceptable.

I see.
I suppose that is the traditional use for such features in devices like these.
To be honest, I kind of forgot that blind people normally need things like that to function day to day.
My perception of the blind has become rather skewed.

If you don't mind my asking, would you care to elaborate? It is usually the other way around, where the blind are severely underestimated.

I spent the last few years living with a blind girl who functioned better than most sighted people I've known.
She could "see", in a sense, through what seems like a rather batshit form of synesthesia.
That is to say, she could taste and smell colors.
Unfortunately, this involved a great deal of sniffing and licking.

She absolutely does.
I think I've experienced her tongue more often than my actual girlfriend's.
At least half of it was just to mess with us, in my opinion, because she knows all too well that she can deflect all accusations of unnecessary licking with counter-accusations of insensitivity for her disability.
