As I am sure many of you are aware at this point there seem to be quite a few cultural differences here that many of us are slowly trying to accustom ourselves to upon arriving on El Nysa.
One of the more obvious ones is this planets interests in celebrating ones own... lascivious tendencies.
Surely I can't be the only one to be moderately agitated by the constant barrage of aphrodisiac laced trickery, both man-made and natural on this planet.

I suppose what I'm trying to bring to discussion is, everyone's personal responses to what's forced upon us. Especially those of us who live in Wyver who have no way to avoid it every time the end of the month roles around. You know, since it seems to be a time based situation over Olympia's more location based magic.

[Surely he can't be the only person perturbed by all these darn aphroevents.]

Certainly sounds that way. Or at least you certainly don't seem to be interested in doing anything about it.

[If he's actually figured a way around being way too openly friendly, she's all ears.]

I found someone who has a specialty in working with magic. I offered him a sum of money to come up with a counter-magic to this worlds effects on us. Problem is, he has no way to know if it works when he does make it.

[Mai isn't the sort to like risking her neck for folks who aren't friends or family. So she adamantly tells herself at least. And what's riskier than playing experimental subject?

Then again, this isn't the sort of thing she wants anyone she's friends with to deal with, both those from home and those few she's made here. After a moment of silence she draws out a long sigh.]

Sure. Fine. I'll do my part for the good of the city.

[It's said in this exasperatedly reluctant tone that isn't quite so true on either front.]

Good. I'm currently discussing the semantics with the guy I know who masters in magics. I'll make sure to keep you updated the moment he gets such a thing in a safe enough state for human testing. Will gladly compensate you with money for the work you put in as well if you like.

[AKA he's really gotta start saving up if he wants to get this endeavor rolling. Time to go on more side missions for the country.]
