So all this tension between Wyver and Olympia and stuff has me wondering...

Does this remind anyone else of before a war broke out in their homes? Granted I was like.. a little, little kid when mine first started but I remembered this kinda junk going on.

Earthers vs. spacers even out in the streets, that kinda thing.

People acting like they're better than other people because some politician says so, or, you know, some legacy story that makes one 'better' but, you know, when a place is destroyed because some politician wants money or whatever everyone starts looking a lot alike, right?

Also curious if anyone's planning on joining up with one side or the other and why, if you are..

No ulterior motives and definitely not taking names for a roster for someone or anything, just curious on why a refugee would feel so connected to a place already or something like that.

i don't even think the olympians and wyvers have nuclear tech.

They seem pretty neutral but who knows what they want deep down.

They don’t from what I can see but that ain’t so bad for em. Once people start automating it’s a lot easier to get your panties in a twist and call war.

Hopefully they’re not in to mobile dolls like my world was for a while.

my species believes in "spirits". like that everything has one. not sure how i feel about it, but it's nice to think about sometimes.

I mean I lived in a Catholic orphanage for a bit and they tried but.. I just don't buy it.

Humans have that belief too. Just makes me annoyed that I might be stuck here not able to do jack shit after I die though because I'm see through and shit.

it's just nice to think we aren't alone in an uncaring universe, you know. but then again, i've always been a pessimist.

Well technically they're supposed to go to "Heaven" where they hang out with other "good" people but honestly I think that'd be really boring. Like most church people. They don't even drink sometimes.

Dude. You're an alien in a place full of people that are even alien to you. How the hell would you ever be remotely 'alone' anyway in the universe?

yeah i've heard a few sayings about that from the humans i've served with. i can't really say anything about the afterlife one way or another, but that sounds like a terrible way to live. as long as you're still able to do your job, you really should be able to do whatever you want.

that's just it. i'm the only one of my species that's awake. there's a bunch of humans around, but turians?

those are a rare sight.

See, that's my thoughts about it too. Plus, like.. life is barely if ever that black and white, you know? Good decisions, bad decisions, whatever. Another reason why I think they were ever able to convert me over as a kid.

Saw too much of that deep grey area to think i was that simple. Would be nice if it was, but.. It is what it is.

there's a few. i go up every once and a while, keep finding clusters of them around.

it'd be easier if they just had an index system, or something.
