So all this tension between Wyver and Olympia and stuff has me wondering...
Does this remind anyone else of before a war broke out in their homes? Granted I was like.. a little, little kid when mine first started but I remembered this kinda junk going on.
Earthers vs. spacers even out in the streets, that kinda thing.
People acting like they're better than other people because some politician says so, or, you know, some legacy story that makes one 'better' but, you know, when a place is destroyed because some politician wants money or whatever everyone starts looking a lot alike, right?
Also curious if anyone's planning on joining up with one side or the other and why, if you are..
No ulterior motives and definitely not taking names for a roster for someone or anything, just curious on why a refugee would feel so connected to a place already or something like that.

I've been living in Olympia since we got here and I think if you live here or in Wyver, you will have to choose. Hard to stay neutral when it's the land you're living on that's going to war.

Yeah. Like I said I was a kid but I remember what it was like. Sucks that you've been involved in multiple though. Not a great time for anyone.
I'm in Wyver for the moment, but I don't think it's really in my cards to fight one way or another. I just got done with fighting and I'm not feeling it, honestly. Plus, I don't like either side enough to bleed for them just yet, if I'm gonna be totally honest.
Problem being, then, where the hell to go after that.
Could become a cave dwelling hermit but.. hair's too long for that mess.

Best just keep your head down. Hopefully you're young enough that you might not even be expected to choose. Let people assume, if you must.

Yeah, I've noticed that thread too. Seems a bit.. convenient, to be honest.
Unfortunately I don't know if I'm young enough. Think seventeen's below the cut for this world? Sure wasn't at home.

Unlikely. Maybe you could pass as younger if you try.

True. I’m probably just bitter because I had just hit my first chance at experiencing that kinda thing and then nope - new span of space and we’re right back in the muck. Annoying, honestly.
Probably could if I wanted. I’m not the broadest kid around.

I haven’t met a refugee that is yet I don’t think. Always gonna be one guy though.
I’m not really eager for a fight to break out but I’m also not going to hold my breath that the two countries aren’t just raring to start a fight either. The ones up top aren’t going to be the most effected anyways.

We shall see, as always.
Sucks though.. the ball/gala thingy was pretty fun and then the friendly competition kind of thing turned in to a pissing match. Some of us just wanted to convince aliens to eat cookie icing straight.

Wasn't anything too unpredictable honestly - He couldn't handle it and it was too sugary but I got a gut buster of a laugh out of it!

You know I never actually thought of that? Definitely a good thing, though, on the whole.
Accidental sugar murder is not on my to-do list right now.
