TEXT 🕷
un: spiderguy
( the username might not be familiar to most, since it isn't used often and usually only with those that already know about who spider-man is. these are unusual circumstances, though, and require a little flexibility. )
yo, spider-man here
( absolutely just ... puts that out there, like it's a perfectly normal name that no one should have questions about. )
usually this sort of thing isn't a team sport for me, but, hey. old spiders can apparently learn new tricks. or try? this is me, trying.
so i here i am on a midnight stroll at flona cove, i love me some romantic walks alone on the beach,
and to my astonishment just offshore there are what look like pirates (a few hats w feathers but what gave them away was the guy with the eye patch) making off like... well, pirates? i guess? with caches i know for a fact they didn't dig up
there's lots of these guys. 30 or more. and while i'm used to the solo thing, maybe this is more like a 2 person job.
3. maybe 3.
any takers? and more importantly, how fast can you get here
( he will take questions and concerns while he's at it. shoot. text only though, please... he's trying to go incognito. )

( and he haaaaaates talking about how he became a spider-american, after his father died to keep Oscorp from financing super soldiers... sorry Rosalind. )

Very well, then. If not your powers, what /do/ you want to discuss?
no subject
I guess we can talk about why you are so curious about inhuman abilities? that sounds interesting
no subject
You know, I get that question a fair bit. I'm beginning to suspect I've more natural curiosity than others. Who /wouldn't/ want to know about inhuman abilities?
no subject
( Peter, you cannot have in-jokes with yourself. )
...............you know what, you got me there. makes sense to be curious, but my spider secrets are unfortunately confidential. sorry.
no subject
Would you count what specific abilities you have, regardless of origin, as a secret?
no subject
I can crawl on walls, I have web shooters, and I'm pretty strong. that's most of it.
( and a pretty unsatisfying description, probably, but it is information. information she'd glean just by watching him in action, yet still information!! it counts. )
no subject
Do you give live demonstrations?
no subject
( the webbing from his father's hybrid spiders was still quite thin while still being strong enough to hold up him. and cars. )
not on purpose, generally. maybe you'll spot me swinging by sometime if you're in the right place at the right time.

So. Surely there must be some kind of trade we can settle on.
no subject
mmm... no? not really? but if you're that determined, I tend to find trouble. just keep your eyes out.

just... witnessing some criminal activity, from the sidelines

no, you're right, it is a bad plan.

( because... that's pretty harmless, right? )

1. no samples, no exceptions
2. no unmasking me like some kind of scooby doo villain
3. umm i think thats it
otherwise, i guess so? this is weird.

[she's a fair bit disappointed about the no samples rule, but she thinks she can get around that sooner or later.]
Pick a day and time.
