While we don't yet fully understand the process, over the past few months it's become clear that any of us could return to stasis at any time. In some cases, more than once. And while I'm sure we all have family and friends from our worlds we hope to see — sooner rather than later — those of our acquaintances from the many others represented here shouldn't be remembered as just faces in those pods.

I think it's well past time we organised ourselves a little to keep track, if only to expedite that process for all of us. To that effect, I've set up a noticeboard for refugee use.

[ Not again. She didn't know about Charles or Ms Bishop going, but that brings the grand total of new friends returning to stasis up to... four? Four. As far as she's aware. ]

I thought it was past time.

I'm well, Ms. Carter. And yourself?

Well enough. Grappling with the same thing. There's really no rhyme or reason, is there? Why people go or why they return.

None. There's about as much explanation as there is for missing memories.

[ Which is its own horrifying problem. ]

Yes, that.

[ Christ. ]

What do you make of it?

Never seen its like. Making it up as we go along.

[ Very, very grudgingly. ]

Has anyone you know gone back in?

[revlon]

Yes, a few. And one returned with no memory of having woken up in the first place. I've heard of others coming back with new memories as well.

Has anyone asked the Orbiters why that is?

[beknight]

It's a side effect of the Storm. They use those pods for further recovery.

[revlon]

So it could happen to any one of us. And there's no way of telling that there's something wrong to begin with? That the Storm could have still affected us?

[beknight]

Exactly. And there've been no warning signs.

For all we know we could be affected right this moment.

[revlon]

There's a comforting thought. You're not going to leave it at that, are you?

[beknight]

It's a little difficult to research, in front of the natives.
We'll have to see.
