[ good morning everyone, hope you weren't hoping to sleep in on this marvelous TGIF, because coming atcha from your very own communication device is one (1) blue paladin of voltron, looking perhaps a little too happy, a little too excited. ]

so turns out theres a few things about this place thats pretty similar to my home world
and a little blue birdy tells me todays my birthday [ lol it's funny because his phone is blue........ ]

now back home my family would normally throw me a party but theyre uh
theyre kinda busy right now [ you know. fighting for their lives in sleep-mode and all. ]
and its a little too last minute to throw anything together anyway
but that doesnt mean we cant enjoy a few party games right?? [ if you can't already tell, he is pumped. games are, like, the second best thing about parties. (second to presents and cake, of course.) ]

since were all kinda scattered i thought we could all play one over this network
that way everyone gets to play!
the games called 'never have i ever'
and all you gotta do is say something
SOMETHING HONEST
that youve never done or seen or heard or whatever
and everyone who that applies to has to respond to you with a story about it!

[ okay so he... modified the game a bit. normally it involves drinking, bUT WHY ALIENATE THOSE WHO CAN'T, AMIRITE............. and besides if there is no birthday cake to be shared, might as well go for the next best thing, right? embarrassing stories! ] ]

Do you mean like a real dragon?

[Like, Yusei's from a different world. Maybe dragons are a thing? Maybe that's where the idea of dragons came from on Earth. Morphogenetic Field and all that pseudo-science nonsense.]

I don't know much about it, but the Crimson Dragon itself is a manifestation of the Dragon Star's power, and only shows itself when the five Signers come together and call on it. Not only am I the only Signer here, I'm not even sure if the Dragon Star is still even around to be called on. I haven't felt a hint of power through the mark it left on me.

Dude, are you tellin' me it's powered by frienship? [Lame.] If you got a tattoo somewhere you can't show, you don't gotta lie about it.

[Just know that Aoi now assumes you have a starred, crimson dragon tattooed on your ass, Yusei.]

[No, it's literally powered by star magic. That chose the power of ~~bonds~~ friendship it's totally different.]

I said I couldn't show you the dragon, not the tattoo.

[You are honestly starting to annoy him a bit, dude. Seriously.]

It's just an ordinary tattoo now, as far as I can tell.

[But like, is the dragon REAL, or is it a metaphorical dragon? He's not even sure anymore. There's all this teamwork and starts and faded powers stuff going on.]

Do you like the dragon tattoo? It'd suck if you had a bunch of ink that you hated.

[Dunno, dude. It's a giant dragon that appears out of nowhere from the stars and its innards are literally a piece of outer space. It's surreal.

Also, it helps him topdeck. Pretty sweet.]

I don't hate it. It's brought me the means of saving my hometown, and bringing new friends to me-at least until the Storm showed up.

[That's less lame that it could be.]

Ok. If it's not somewhere embarrassing, you should show it off.

[It's got, like, sentimental value and shit.]

[It takes a moment for Yusei to switch to the video, but there he is, prison-tatt face and all. Wordlessly, he brings his right arm to the screen and pulls off his glove and rolls up his sleeve, and there it is, in a dull red color painted on his arm, almost the color of dried blood: the Crimson Dragon's head.]

This is it.

That's not the worst.

[If Yusei ever falls asleep in Aoi's presence, though, he may wake up to find fake flames and googly eyes drawn on it. But for now, grudging approval.]

[Dude, it's already got a big ol' eye drawn in it, just draw on that.]

Mn. Are you satisfied?

[He's rolling down his sleeve again, at least.]

Yeah, you can put it away now.
