[ good morning everyone, hope you weren't hoping to sleep in on this marvelous TGIF, because coming atcha from your very own communication device is one (1) blue paladin of voltron, looking perhaps a little too happy, a little too excited. ]

so turns out theres a few things about this place thats pretty similar to my home world
and a little blue birdy tells me todays my birthday [ lol it's funny because his phone is blue........ ]

now back home my family would normally throw me a party but theyre uh
theyre kinda busy right now [ you know. fighting for their lives in sleep-mode and all. ]
and its a little too last minute to throw anything together anyway
but that doesnt mean we cant enjoy a few party games right?? [ if you can't already tell, he is pumped. games are, like, the second best thing about parties. (second to presents and cake, of course.) ]

since were all kinda scattered i thought we could all play one over this network
that way everyone gets to play!
the games called 'never have i ever'
and all you gotta do is say something
SOMETHING HONEST
that youve never done or seen or heard or whatever
and everyone who that applies to has to respond to you with a story about it!

[ okay so he... modified the game a bit. normally it involves drinking, bUT WHY ALIENATE THOSE WHO CAN'T, AMIRITE............. and besides if there is no birthday cake to be shared, might as well go for the next best thing, right? embarrassing stories! ] ]

[True to his word, the tavern is outside of the red light district, though, this being Olympia in the Nysa Isles, the decor is....hm, tantalizing at best? Still, it's clean and quiet this time of day, and almost empty, save for the few stragglers who either stopped by on their way elsewhere or who never stopped drinking since last night.

He's seated at the bar, far enough away from some sad bastard whose face is pressed to the wood so as not to smell him, watching the door.

It's still a tavern, after all.]

[ lance himself arrives not too long after, and he looks perhaps exactly as zevran would have imagined him: boyish, a bit excitable, but with an air of wariness tensing up his shoulders as he enters that speaks more to his inexperience than his youth.

blue eyes dart around upon entering, and they fall upon zevran last, but eagerly. he has no reference to how this man he'd agreed to meet might look, but he assumes the one glancing at the door is one that's expecting company, and so he makes his way on over. he removes one hand from the depths of his pockets to lift at the other, a mild greeting. ]

Hi... uh. [ he thinks back to the username. ] Zevran?

[Largely, yeah? He was expecting blonder, but that's mostly because of how long he spent around Alistair. They kinda share that sort of boyish awkwardness. Lance is more flirty, though. Idly, he wonders what would happen if the two of them ever met.

He sweeps a hand toward the stool next to him.]

In the flesh, as it were. So, any preference?

[ nope, lance is way too Diverse™ for that!!

anyway he takes the proffered seat, sliding right into it with ease. sadly, that ease stops there. ]

Uh... I'll — have whatever you're having.

[ because he's totally not a novice at this, and that's totally what not-novices say, yep. ]

[Regardless of whether or not it's what non-novices say, his face tells the ultimate truth: he has no idea what he's doing in a bar. When in doubt, a little light teasing is the default. He leans onto the counter and rests his chin on the palm of his hand, watching Lance closely.]

How about whatever that was at the party in the West Outpost? Though I'm still not entirely sure what it was called.

[ lance, out of instinct, pulls back slightly from both the sudden proximity and the reminder of those highly potent drinks. he swallows a little nervously. ]

What... Those things? You sure you haven't had your fill of them?
