[This is via text because NO ONE SHOULD SEE HIM RIGHT NOW HE'S HIDEOUS and also he's hyper depressed about losing his best friend, but mostly HE'S HIDEOUS. His roots are showing like mad and he's resorted to wearing a beanie. A BEANIE in this weather. It's horrific.]
yeah so glad everything's all back to normal and whatever, but i got an important question:
where can i get some hair bleach and dye? 'cause like hell i'm going out like this

I don't believe it means leaving them in physical agony. I think it's more...well how do I phrase it...
Lets say there is a King who is cruel and is wicked to his subjects for he thinks they're lesser. Calling upon Mythal to bring justice and leave that king in agony may mean casting him down from his throne. Leaving him in ruin and putting him on the same level as the subjects he mistreated. [ However, he does give a shrug. ]
At least, that's how I take it. A mother would do anything to protect her children and so Mythal is the representation of that, smiting the wicked who would harm the innocent.
[ However there is just the longest of stares at the explaination of twitter. ]
On line? Like a clothes line?
Or wait, is it like this strange network we're talking on?
no subject
[And sounds more like what he and Akira and everyone did. Putting people back in their right minds, stealing their distorted desires, and forcing them to confront the horror of what they'd done.]
There's nothin' wrong with protecting people as long as you aren't causing more harm by doing it.
...
[But wow, man. At least Sen switches gears quickly enough that Ryuji doesn't have to facepalm.]
Yeah, it's like this network. But it's huge - it covers the entire globe and everyone can access it if they got the tech.
no subject
[ Sorry, Ryuji. He lives in a world where killing is pretty much acceptable under the right circumstances. And ah...there it is;]
In a perfect world that would be true. Unfortunately, all we can do is try our best to mitigate the damages.
[ anyways- ]
That...definitely sounds like a very big network. To cover an entire world, I'm not even sure our messenger Ravens could do that.

Won't stop me from tryin'.
[He can't let anyone else suffer the way his friends had. He won't allow it anymore.]
And yeah, it's electronic or something, so no birds required. Makes it easy and fast. You can get information as quick as it's made. A lot more convenient than the dark ages.
[aka the 70s]

And I won't stop you. I encourage it.
[ But, maybe this is a little too sad to talk about. In fact he's more interested of this ONLINE thing. ]
So, it's like a library with constantly updating information that has anything you wish? [ He seems to be getting it at the very least. ]
no subject
[But that's probably the closest idea he can think of. A library that is instantly updated.]
Sometimes they got some real crap out there though, so you gotta be careful what you read and trust online. Anyone can put stuff up there, and there ain't a lot of vettin' the submissions.
no subject
Still, that's a very handy thing for your people to have. You would never be able to lose anything. [ History, culture, traditions. So much. ]
no subject
But it also means you get a lot of crap floating out there. Like why would I care about some old ass video of hamsters singing?? I don't even get what people were thinking back then.
[He sighs.]
Is that a big problem where you come from though? Losing stuff?
no subject
In a sense. We merely have books and word of mouth to keep history and well, if disaster strikes it is often lost.
And there has been a lot of stories and history that has been lost to such things where I come from.
no subject
[He can't really fathom that happening now. The Internet has made the loss of information nearly impossible, for better or for worse. But he remembers reading about something like that in history class when he was halfway paying attention. Something about a library some dude named Alex owned burning down.]
Well, you can probably keep a lot of that info safe here though Up on the station, they gotta have data servers right?
no subject
You may have a point. It may take some time though to find what I would want. I'm not exactly sure how those devices work.
no subject
[Must be if he doesn't know what the internet is.]
Well! I can help you with that if you want.
no subject
[ But, the boy does get a smile out of Sen. ]
I would gladly accept the help. Thank you, Ryuji. Now, I should probably let you get back to your dye problem, shouldn't I? I'll keep an eye out if I see anything like that.
