[ A familiar greeting, not that anybody is familiar with him! His voice is gruff and tired, but that's his everyday voice. ]
That guy everyone's been chasing after is dead. [ A slight pause, and in a softer tone: ] Killed himself.
He gave some details to the cure, though. Said that we need a plant called the Oshai Leaf for it, and it can only be found in Wyver.
Wyver's been hit with the same disease, too. No idea what the situation's like there, but they can't find the cure for it either. Another ingredient for the cure can only be found here.
That's all I know. If you've got questions, ask. I'll try to answer 'em.

[ Just speaking as someone who isn't going to take this for anything but face value at this moment in time. A lot's riding on the details of this so-called cure being true; they need to be sure that it is. ]

[ Since they're... just rumours. Qrow's pretty relieved to have gotten some information. It's difficult to prove whether or not what he knows is factual, but all he can do right now is rely on it. ]
It's hard to trust just about anyone—whether they appear to be friend or foe. But it's a lead worth investigating, if anything.

This is kind of like one of those moments where you find something cool, get excited, tell your best friend without even thinking about the rest, you know? [ By which he means this is the first thing he did after the whole. . . incident with the Shady Man. ] No clue on the other ingredient, though. He only talked about the Oshai Leaf.
... wouldn't mind having to travel to Wyver, though. Even if it does sound like bad news.
