Here's a bit of an awkward question:

How many of you guys have someone you don't exactly like holed up in one of those pods? And I don't just mean like "wow that guy's a dick" I'm talking more along the lines of "this guy is a GIANT dick and he will definitely try to kill us [ read: him ] when he wakes up."

Is there any way to...I don't know, pull the plug out of the pods? or something? Do you think we'd get in trouble for that?

[ A little casual accidentally-on-purpose murder never hurt anyone right? Like especially when it's for the greater good, which this totally is. ]

Well that...sucks. Besides the weird rule on killing people after they wake up these guys don't seem too bad? Overall. They did keep us from dying in The Storm.

Yeah, that part I appreciate. And I feel like I can trust Darma to keep her word, but I'm still a little wiggy about the whole concept and what happens if something were to go wrong and she were to turn out not quite so nice.

I'm taking a wild guess that's probably right. Darma didn't pick and choose who gets to live and who gets to die, so if we take it upon ourselves, she's gonna be piiiissed.

Theoretically. If it was something she'd allow, we'd all frickin' get one person we don't want to wake up as an incentive.

But Celestials aren't wired like we are, so I dunno.

What's a Celestial?

In simple terms, it's a god. Just not the kind anyone does all the bowing and praying shit to- those don't exist. These guys are just big, arrogant cosmic beings who do weird things sometimes.

[Rocket talks like he's an expert. In reality, his entire exposure to Celestials is the five minutes he's been on Ego's planet, some stories from Yondu, Knowhere's existence, and a brief video montage in the Collector's museum that he was half paying attention to.]
