so i don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it looks like there's a definite trend of people going back into stasis without any warning

a few people i knew from back home woke up and just ended up... disappearing out of nowhere and returning back to their pods on the station

has anyone else had something like that happen to them?
maybe it's just me and i'm cursed with bad luck or something
an explanation for WHY it happens would be nice, too
not that i think it's going to make anyone worry less
i haven't had the chance to talk to darma about it, but maybe someone else has

[ not that clary is entirely certain she would trust darma's reasoning at this point, but... well, it's worth a shot. ]

uh, on a lighter note
i realize we already have a makeshift fight club in the works, but i'm looking for regular sparring partners
preferably someone who can't actually throw me through a wall and doesn't want to repeatedly punch me in the face, but i'm not picky
i figure it can't hurt to add a few new things to my skill set

It's only a guess. Given the force with which some of those pods crashed, I wouldn't be surprised if a few of those inside suffered injury because of it.

It isn't necessarily bones that could've been injured. Those just snap back into place with a little bit of force. There could've been other trauma that wasn't readily visible to us, though.

[ If he thought her words odd, he doesn't show it. He's used to taking a beating and not batting an eye, or suffering major injuries that should've had him down for months with a long rehabilitation phase and only taking one to be up and around again like it was nothing. ]

I don't necessarily trust them, but I'd sooner take my chances with them than with the anything found here.

There are also some people who just don't fare well when making a hasty transition from space to planet-side. Illness, headaches, dizziness, and the like are fairly common. It could be something fairly simple to resolve, but there's always the possibility that it isn't.

[ He's used to going back and forth because of how things were at home, but to someone unused to it, it could just be a side-effect. That's what he'll hope, at least. ]

Neither, actually, though I've seen the outcomes of some of those potions and don't care to test my luck.

I don't know what star trek is, but yes. A large majority of the population lives in space colonies instead of on Earth, and one of the primary areas of employment for those in the colonies are the refineries on the various resource satellites.

[ In other words, they mine asteroids. And the moon. ]

Those from the colonies are no different than those from Earth. There isn't anything to separate them otherwise.

[ If he takes offense, he doesn't show it. He's been called worse, so he'll take it. ]

If by 'take it for a spin' you mean 'have it run out of battery and have to splice wires to get back', then yes. I prefer the suits from home over those.
