so i don't know if anyone else has noticed, but it looks like there's a definite trend of people going back into stasis without any warning
a few people i knew from back home woke up and just ended up... disappearing out of nowhere and returning back to their pods on the station
has anyone else had something like that happen to them?
maybe it's just me and i'm cursed with bad luck or something
an explanation for WHY it happens would be nice, too
not that i think it's going to make anyone worry less
i haven't had the chance to talk to darma about it, but maybe someone else has
[ not that clary is entirely certain she would trust darma's reasoning at this point, but... well, it's worth a shot. ]
uh, on a lighter note
i realize we already have a makeshift fight club in the works, but i'm looking for regular sparring partners
preferably someone who can't actually throw me through a wall and doesn't want to repeatedly punch me in the face, but i'm not picky
i figure it can't hurt to add a few new things to my skill set

[ He's used to going back and forth because of how things were at home, but to someone unused to it, it could just be a side-effect. That's what he'll hope, at least. ]
Neither, actually, though I've seen the outcomes of some of those potions and don't care to test my luck.

[ that's not the priority in this conversation, no, but she's still inquisitive — maybe to a fault. ]
back home, we had astronauts. nothing like something you would see on a stark trek episode, though. spaceships weren't a thing, so i'm not ruling space nausea and world hopping craziness out of the equation.
[ or whatever is associated with being thrust into space and falling from the sky. she's had her own experience with traversing into alternate universes, and even that could be the perpetrator. ]

[ In other words, they mine asteroids. And the moon. ]

[ yes, space people. clary can only hope it isn't an insulting moniker, but possibly affronting anyone aside, at least she's keeping her enthusiasm more subtle while collecting information about other worlds. ]
so the station must have been pretty standard fare for you. did you try out any of the piloting gear they had out there? maybe take it for a spin?
[ she's curious, to say the least, even if it's a slight detour from the original subject. ]

[ If he takes offense, he doesn't show it. He's been called worse, so he'll take it. ]
If by 'take it for a spin' you mean 'have it run out of battery and have to splice wires to get back', then yes. I prefer the suits from home over those.

well, that answers the question of whether you would recommend them. it doesn't sound too beginner-friendly.
