A bit of a vague question, I know. But out of curiosity, how advanced was the technology from your homeworlds? Is it close to how things are here on El Nysa? Or was it something closer to Thessa Station?

How difficult was it for you all to adjust to your lifestyles here because of it?

Dang... My daughter would have died of joy knowing that there's a legitimate word out there somewhere where wizarding schools are a thing.

But then again I have a feeling she would have reacted like that the moment she discovered magic was real.

How does a person become a wizard? Is it a genetic thing, like you're born into it, or is it a learned trait?

It can be learned, although traditionally, the practice has been reserved to men.

Although there is nothing to indicate women cannot learn just as well.

So wait, you mean wizardry is a purely learned skill then? Like just anyone can become a wizard with the proper learning?

Quite.

Essentially. There are some who have no aptitude for it whatsoever, but as far as I am aware, almost anyone could learn. It does require a teacher and intensive study for at least a decade, but yes.

So, essentially, even someone like me could even learn.
