[ The camera blips on to show Waver looking pensive. Though you may notice Rider in the background looking suspiciously naked. Hard to tell, Waver's head is in the way. Don't mind him. ]

So, it's that day again. But I haven't changed at all, I don't think. Aren't I supposed to be getting taller? Surely, by now, I should be taller! Stronger...or something.... [ Mumble, grumble ]

This is the second birthday I've passed since waking up out of stasis in this place. Isn't that —

[ Suddenly, at the mention of "birthday", the Man in the Background jumps up and moves, seemingly hightailing it out the door which causes Waver to whip around and blink, his Profound Thoughts gone. ]

Ah- I hope he put on pants....

[He blurts out suddenly, then coughs to clear his throat, buying him a precious few seconds.]

That one's for keeping. We'll buy ones to use, alright? You need to hold onto that one.

[In case anything ever happens to him. With Atsushi gone, Waver's probably the only one who'd even notice if he vanished.]

I've never heard of England before...but if it's fish and rice you want to eat, I think I can work with that. You should come to my place and eat. You could have an entire floor to yourself if you wanted.

Eh? Fine, fine... I'll keep it.

[ He blinks a little at the outburst, but passes it off as nothing after a moment. ]

I could come over to eat. A whole floor to myself isn't necessary though..

[ He IS curious about this mansion though ]

Really?! You could?!

[He clears his throat. He sounded way too excited there.]

I mean...that's great. The place is mine now. Atsushi is asleep again, so...I'm taking care of it for him.

[He's probably mentioned his roommate before, w/e.]

...I don't really know what to do with it.

I could... err, you invited me didn't you?

[ Don't make it weird!!! Gosh! ]

I see, so a friend went back to sleep. I'm sorry...

[ He can't really recall if the roommate has been mentioned, but he sympathizes regardless. Having someone you care about in stasis is hard. ]

I couldn't tell you, but you should probably hang onto it. It's good to have an established place to live here.

I was just...repeating you to make sure I heard you!

It's...it's fine. It happens a lot, right? It's no reason for me to get upset or anything.

[Right. He's not special. And it's Waver's birthday.]

At least it leaves me a place to cook. And there's plenty of bedrooms...and a big bathroom, so if you want to enjoy yourself for a while, it's yours.

[ Wow, fine. It's already weird, anyway. ]

I think it's plenty reason to get upset for a little while. Because you'll miss that person.

[ So he still hopes Dylas will be okay!! He doesn't care that it's his birthday, alright. ]

Yeah, that sounds nice.

[It's not just Atsushi, though. Everyone in the house is gone. But he can't tell Waver that on his birthday, can he? It's weird, trying to fill such a big space by himself.]

Yeah. I'll miss him. But...it's not like I'll never see him again. Who knows.

[He's not really the hopeful type, though.]

Just come over whenever you want to, alright? You can meet Daifuku. He's, uh, my pet, I guess. I kind of inherited him. He's a tiger.

Yeah. He may wake up again.

[ He's not really the hopeful type either, so the words feel a bit empty. But he's trying. ]

[ But he raises a brow. ]

You have a pet tiger? An actual life-sized tiger?

When he does, I'll show him the place is still standing. It's the least I can do.

[For now. He might...give up later. But talking about Waver visiting is making him sort of excited.]

You'll like it. There's a full bar for when you're old enough to drink. And Daifuku's princely, but he's also a runt. He didn't grow out of being a cub. I think he's supposed to be like that.

Yeah. [ a nod. ] You do that.

[ And good, he's glad Daifuku isn't a life-sized adult tiger. That would be horrifying?? ]

I already am old enough to drink. And I guess that sounds safe enough...

[Dylas thinks that would be amazing, personally.]

It sounds 'safe' enough? Does spending time with me usually sound dangerous?

[ Either something crazy is happening or they end up...touching each other...... ]

[He sounds a little alarmed.]

[He doesn't want Waver to think he's dangerous, he feels a little bad hearing it.]

[ Which means you actually have to admit to liking Waver now. ]
