It's pretty normal. Students have to start somewhere. Hairdressers and teaching assistants do it, too.

I do this sort of thing a lot, so I'm just tailoring the new things I find here to suit the knowledge I already have. It's safe, but if it feels unsafe to you, I wouldn't ask you to do it.

It's more of a pull than a real promise. Actually, I'm rebuilding my store of herbal medicines now that I'm in such a new place. I was looking to work on this with some of the people here, while I learn about all the things I'm finding. Some of the plants are different.
