[Behind Claire is a fairly unassuming background. An empty wall, and a cabinet with an assortment of herbs, bottles, and jars to be put in their proper place. She takes a breath before clapping her hands together.]

Well. Seems like I chose a wonderful time to open my own clinic.

[With all this summoning business.]

As some of you might remember, the Sanctuary made it very clear during the riots some months back that it can't always be relied on. [The smile here is thin. Very thin.] I never felt comfortable setting foot in that place after being turned away at the doors when people were in need. So, I've opened my own, near the market district here in Olympia. It's nothing grand, or... much at all, yet, but in time I hope it will be a place people are comfortable coming with medical concerns, be it treatment or a desire to learn a few things as I was once teaching with Dr. John Watson.

Seeing that he's returned to stasis, I'd be happy to see anyone that was under his care.

[And she probably shouldn't laugh, but... it's better than dwelling on the fear of the recent news.]

Hopefully my new endeavor isn't destroyed by a dragon anytime in the near future.

I had a sachet in my pocket when -- [His own smile wobbles a little and he clears his throat, starting again]

I mean to say, I woke up with them. I carry all sorts of things in my pockets, so I had some useful things upon waking. But I have a job now, and likely shouldn't indulge. I really shouldn't keep it around the house, at all. One never knows when temptation might strike!

Oh! Oh my, that is very kind of you, madame, thank you. If I remember correctly, it's enough for about three cups. So whatever you think is fair for that, I'd be more than happy to accept.

Oh goodness me, I'm not really sure. I am very fond of flowers. I have a few in pots around the house. But I'm not really in need of anything, I suppose.

I think that is more than a fair trade. I want to start my own garden, you see, and a few seeds would be immensely helpful.

Do you come to Wyver very often? If not, I could come to you.

Oh no, it's fine. I'm certain I could find the time, on a day I don't work, to make it out there. I don't mind the travel at all! I find it quite exciting, actually.

Oh I'm so sorry, I'm ever so rude. My name is Jean Prouvaire. It's a pleasure to meet you, madame.

I am, actually! Originally from the south, outside of Provence, but then I moved to Paris to attend university.

It's lovely to meet someone who knows of France! I miss it very much.

I'd never been outside of France before, but now I'm here! With this great big new world to explore. That's why I don't mind the travel, as much as some might.

Where were you from, back home?

Oh, England! Not too terribly far away from me, then. I should have liked to have visited, one day.

Perhaps we'll find a place like England here. Or you could tell me about where you're from? We can make believe.

Ooh, Scotland! I've heard Gaelic is a very lovely language. I went to school for languages, but most of them I learned so I could read some of the classical poets in their original language.

Though I've realized now that I've said the word "language" quite a lot in the last few moments, which looks quite bad for an aspiring poet. [And now he's blushing]
