[Behind Claire is a fairly unassuming background. An empty wall, and a cabinet with an assortment of herbs, bottles, and jars to be put in their proper place. She takes a breath before clapping her hands together.]

Well. Seems like I chose a wonderful time to open my own clinic.

[With all this summoning business.]

As some of you might remember, the Sanctuary made it very clear during the riots some months back that it can't always be relied on. [The smile here is thin. Very thin.] I never felt comfortable setting foot in that place after being turned away at the doors when people were in need. So, I've opened my own, near the market district here in Olympia. It's nothing grand, or... much at all, yet, but in time I hope it will be a place people are comfortable coming with medical concerns, be it treatment or a desire to learn a few things as I was once teaching with Dr. John Watson.

Seeing that he's returned to stasis, I'd be happy to see anyone that was under his care.

[And she probably shouldn't laugh, but... it's better than dwelling on the fear of the recent news.]

Hopefully my new endeavor isn't destroyed by a dragon anytime in the near future.

I'm not really sure. It hasn't happened that often with the people I know, but others might have bad luck. Many of the people I know to return to stasis tend to return. But, if that's going to happen, it usually doesn't take too long.

When they come back, do they go back to what they were doing?

Yes. Do they remember being here before at all?

I did. The people I know did as well. I don't know if that's everyone, however.

[That's definitely information to keep in mind for all his friends still asleep.]

Of course. Might I ask why you were asking about stasis? Did someone you know leave recently?

No.

[He realizes he needs to explain more.]

It's just that my friends are all still in stasis. I know they'll wake up someday. So I'm gathering up all information possible about how things work so that when they get here, they'll immediately be brought up to speed.

[It's also an excellent way to distract himself from not having his friends here at all.]

That's smart. I'm not aware of anyone else doing that. I do hope you've made some friends in the meanwhile.

[It can get lonely.]

I've met some people here and there.

[He's talked to a few people. It's just hard when he's so used to being the quiet man of a group.]

A few, yes. It's just a little different when no one from your world seems to be here.

[Which might explain the need to keep himself busy and distracted.]

At least a lot of us are in the same boat. I'd say most people here don't have people here from their own homes.

Really? Is that the same for you?

[There might be a lot more lonely people here than Ren first realized.]

It used to be. I was alone when I first woke up. My husband has come out of stasis as well, but he's the only one.
