I know it's been something of a time around here, and, really, there always seems to be something happening so I'm sure if I waited for an opportune moment, it'd never come.

That is to say, to those who might not have heard, I've started a training grounds on the outskirts of Wyver, in an attempt to put my particular skill set to use. It's open to everyone. If you've been keen on learning how to use a sword or learning archery or taking riding lessons, or if you'd simply like to build on your techniques. And of course if you already feel you've got nothing else to learn, you're welcome to come around and use the grounds as practice. I'm more than happy to run through the rounds with you, and my friend Jon Snow has been kind enough to offer his services, as well.

And I suppose if there happens to be enough interest, I wouldn't mind perhaps teaching jousting. It was my speciality back home, after all.

mmyeah about that. I'm not the greatest student. better at doing than studying, yanno?

and it's a bat. used for baseball.

I've never heard of baseball, no. Why would it need a bat? Is it violent?

What? No! It's a sport - a game. You use the bat to hit a ball as far as you can and you try to run the bases before someone can throw the ball back. I mean there are a lot more rules that go into it, but that's basically it.

Yeah! I mean, I'm sure there's lots of people here who know how to play. We could try gettin' a game up and runnin' sometime. It wasn't my sport, but I still know how it goes.
